Mickey Guyton does a complete overhaul of Ringo Starr’s “You Don’t Know Me at All” in her latest release. The studio recording follows the country musician’s live rendition of the 1976 single at Ringo & Friends at the Ryman, the two-hour CBS special recorded in January and airing on March 10.
“It’s truly the greatest honor to record and put my spin on @ringostarrmusic’s ‘You Don’t Know Me at All,'” Guyton wrote on Instagram. Her take on the record is soulful and largely piano-based, whereas Starr...

In 1971, Ringo Starr called for peace and unity on his single “It Don’t Come Easy.” The record made its way onto the setlist for his performances at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium in January, hosted in support of the American Red Cross and Los Angeles residents impacted by the recent wildfires. “Please, remember peace is how we make it,” Starr sings in the trailer for Ringo & Friends at the Ryman, the two-hour CBS special airing Monday, March 10.

Pamela Anderson delivers the performance of her career in Gia Coppola’s drama. Here’s our The Last Showgirl review.
Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl would make an excellent double-bill with Coralie Fargeat’s 2024 sensation The Substance. Granted, you won’t see Pamela Anderson birth a younger version of herself in Coppola’s film, but The Last Showgirl might leave you pondering about aging as a woman and how showbusiness only values youth and beauty.
Anderson plays Shelly, a 57-year-old showgirl who has performed at the same revue show in Las Vegas for the last three decades. All good things must come to an end and so does Shelly’s show, but this is the only life and work she has ever known. Las Vegas isn’t friendly to women of a certain age as it is and Shelly becomes increasingly worried about her future.

Stephen King’s The Monkey is about to terrorize the box office thanks to the impressive directorial efforts of Osgood Perkins, but there is one small but noticeable thing missing from the movie that fans of King’s original short story will spot instantly: cymbals. Yes, the evil toy of the film inexplicably has a little drum as its percussion instrument of choice, and it seems that Disney is to blame.
Directed and written by Perkins, produced by horror master James Wan, and boasting an all-star cast including Theo James, Elijah Wood, Tatiana Maslany, and Rohan Campbell, The Monkey is set to be another hugely successful entry in Perkins’ career after last year’s creepy Nicolas Cage film, Longlegs. The film has already been making waves, with reports that TV spots for The Monkey were rejected by many stations for being too violent, and initial reviews heaping praise on the movie.

This isn’t the way things were supposed to go for Pamela Anderson. As the 2020s dawned, she could reflect on a noteworthy career, from Playboy Playmate of the Month in February 1990 to playing Lisa the Tool Time Girl on Home Improvement to playing pin-up C.J. Parker on 110 episodes of Baywatch from 1992 to 1997 to starring in the Cannes-premiering feature Barb Wire (1996) to having another long series run as the head of an elite bodyguard agency on V.I.P. from 1998 to 2002. That’s all besides being a tabloid queen during her tumultuous 1990s marriage to Mötley Crüe cofounder Tommy Lee.
Anderson recognized she had done pretty well for someone who grew up in a small town on Vancouver Island. But at the same time, she felt unfulfilled.

The 2025 Oscar nominees were announced this morning, and in a positively surprising turn of events, Sebastian Stan was nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of Donald Trump in The Apprentice, joined in the final five by Adrien Brody in The Brutalist, Colman Domingo in Sing Sing, Ralph Fiennes in Conclave and Timothée Chalamet in A Complete Unknown. The Apprentice actually landed two nominations, with the other going to Stan's co-star, Jeremy Strong, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor.
When an actor is campaigning during awards season for two different films, they can sometimes split the vote and receive the nom for one film, but not the other. Some thought this could happen to Stan, who gave two career-defining performances in 2024 with A Different Man and The Apprentice. For much of the season, he had an outside chance of making the final five, but his fortunes began to change...

Sebastian Stan has gone from unknown to beloved actor in just over a decade. The actor saw his big break when he got cast in his first Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie, playing Bucky Barnes in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger. He continued to play Bucky in further MCU content, including the Captain America movies as well as Avengers: Endgame and the TV miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. This MCU role helped him gain visibility and pave the way to other roles.
Some of said roles have been met with massive critical acclaim. In 2022, he was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for playing Tommy Lee in the based-on-a-true-story drama series Pam & Tommy. Pamela Anderson, the actor mostly famous for giving life to C.J. Parker on the TV drama Baywatch whose career is going through a renaissance of sorts lately, has a bone to pick with the Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy. The show, which portrays Anderson and Tommy Lee's whirlwind romance and the theft and release of their sex tape, doesn't have Pamela's approval. In fact, she calls it "hurtful."
Per the report by CinemaBlend, the actor of films like Scary Movie 3, Barb Wire, and Borat, appeared on the radio show Andy Cohen Live, where she spoke about her leading part in The Last Showgirl and answered questions about the Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy as well. While many would have thought that showrunners and writers would involved Anderson, the actor actually wasn't involved at all, and she isn't quite happy with the miniseries' depiction of the event that...

Although Sebastian Stan made his first onscreen appearance in Michael Haneke‘s 1994 drama 71 Fragments of a Chronology of Chance, his acting career kicked into high gear in the 2000s with a recurring role on Gossip Girl. But it was the part of Bucky Barnes, a plucky WWII veteran turned brainwashed assassin in Marvel’s Captain America and its sequel, The Winter Soldier, that made him a star. Stan has played Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier, throughout eight films and counting, yet that’s far from the extent of his acting career.
Born in Romania in 1982, Stan gained prominence on television playing the Mad Hatter in the fantasy series Once Upon a Time and the openly gay son to the former U.S. first lady on Political Animals. He had his greatest small-screen success with the limited series Pam & Tommy, recounting the tumultuous relationship between Pamela Anderson (Lily James...

Eighty minutes?? Landman Season 1 Episode 10 was a feature-length finale, and oh boy, did it deliver.
The near future of the show has changed significantly, giving us a better picture of what to expect from the second season.
The biggest stunner here is that despite the popularity of the show and its success for the streamer, Paramount+ hasn’t renewed it yet. While “The Crumbs of Hope” could serve as a series finale, the likeliness of this happening is very slim.
(Lauren ìLoî Smith/Paramount+)
As an aside, as of this writing, there aren’t any photos for the finale, but if they arrive on Sunday, I’ll switch them out so you don’t feel like you’re reading old news.
Speaking of news, beginning the hour with Paul Harvey made me smile. Many of you won’t know who he is, but he was one of the greatest orators of our time.

Historically, gender nudity inequality ran rampant in Hollywood, as most leading men were, perhaps understandably, reluctant to hang brain on screen. Thanks to advances in prosthetic technology, however, we can splash as many wangs as we want across the silver screen, safe in the knowledge that, like everything else on it, they’re only pretend. That’s right: It’s a new dong dawn.

Following the critical acclaim and awards buzz around her self-described life-changing role in The Last Showgirl, Pamela Anderson has called the Gia Coppola vehicle “the best payback” following Hulu’s 2022 Pam & Tommy limited series.
Having previously discussed her lack of involvement on the Lily James- and Sebastian Stan-starring show in the aftermath of its premiere (and its own turn around the awards circuit), Anderson reiterated on a recent SiriusXM interview with Andy Cohen that she found it “so strange,” “hurtful” and “so bizarre.”
“I think ethically it’s illegal,” she said. “But I mean it’s kind of fair game. I remember people telling me a long time ago that you are basically public property and you have no right to privacy.”
The newly minted memoir and cookbook author added that Hulu hasn’t approached her about making amends, but that she doesn’t “dwell on it,...

Pamela Anderson isn’t holding back about how good it feels to receive high praise for her new film The Last Showgirl — especially after the Hulu series Pam & Tommy, which was released nearly three years ago, was made without her knowledge, she says.
Anderson recently went on Sirius Xm’s Andy Cohen Live to discuss The Last Showgirl, and Cohen asked her about Pam & Tommy. “I didn’t have any involvement. No one called me, which was so strange and that was hurtful,” Anderson said. “I think ethically it’s illegal. But I mean, you’re kind of fair game. I remember people telling me that a long time ago that you are basically public property and have no right to privacy.”
Cohen then asked her if anyone from Hulu ever came to her and tried to make it right. Anderson replied, “No they haven’t.”

Ringo always wanted to be a cowboy. He grew up in the toughest corner of Liverpool, dreaming of escaping to the Wild West, hoping to emigrate to Texas. He was the biggest country fan in the Beatles, the one who sang the Buck Owens classic “Act Naturally” as well as original twangers like “What Goes On” and “Don’t Pass Me By.” Now in his eighties, still a hell of a dancer, living on broccoli and blueberries, Sir Ringo Starr makes his first country album in 50 years. Look Up, with producer T Bone Burnett,...

Sebastian Stan didn't get a lot of love in terms of awards when it came to him portraying Bucky Barnes (a.k.a. Winter Soldier) in the MCU, but that isn't the case for the 42-year-old star when it comes to one of his latest movies, A Different Man. Directed by Aaron Schimberg, the A24 film tells the story of a struggling actor with neurofibromatosis who undergoes a radical medical procedure to drastically transform his appearance. Released on Sept. 20, 2024, the comedically dark psychological thriller was met with a warm reception from both fans and critics, and last night, earned Stan his first Golden Globes win.

Sebastian Stan has won his first Golden Globe, taking home the trophy for best actor in a musical or comedy for “A Different Man.”
In his speech, Stan implored viewers to account for social prejudices toward individuals with disabilities. In director Aaron Schimberg’s “A Different Man,” Stan plays Edward, an aspiring actor with neurofibromatosis, a genetic condition that causes tumors to grow on the skin and bone. He stars in the film alongside a standout Adam Pearson, who has neurofibromatosis in real life.
“Aaron Schimberg and Adam Pearson at home, I wish you were here. I share this with you. Thank you for your trust,” Stan began in his acceptance speech. “Our ignorance and discomfort around disability and disfigurement has to end now. We have to normalize it and continue to expose ourselves [and our children] to it. Encourage acceptance. One way we can do that is by continuing to champion stories that are inclusive.

Lily James’ Pamela transformation leaves onlookers shocked (Photo Credit – Facebook)
Actress Lily James once stunned audiences with her transformation into Canadian model Pamela Anderson for Hulu’s 2022 miniseries Pam & Tommy. The show, based on the infamous 2014 Rolling Stone article Pam and Tommy: The Untold Story of the World’s Most Infamous Sex Tape, not only reignited public interest in the scandalous history between Anderson and musician Tommy Lee but also led to intense curiosity about its leading actress.
When early photos of James transformed into the Baywatch bombshell at a California beach surfaced, they left the internet with one small question crawling in the back of their brains to ponder. “Are Lily James’ breasts real in Pam & Tommy?” spearheaded search engine inputs — and deservingly so. With Anderson’s famously voluptuous figure, which attracts many with her breasts measurements — 34D, and later enhanced to 34Dd — it was inevitable for viewers to wonder how James,...

Bloody jaws, treacherous fins sticking out of the water, and a killer stare are the standard staples of shark attack movies. Monster thriller/horror is a celebrated genre and while it may not be as mainstream as sci-fi or romance, it still has a staunch following. Breakthrough classics like Jaws and Deep Blue Sea have set a precedent that has instilled a generational fear among watchers regarding these majestic creatures.
It’s safe to say that viewers have at least once felt that the things depicted in shark movies are real or bound to happen to someone at some point. Although not all sharks in the sea are looking to devour human flesh, most facts in such movies are for entertainment purposes only. However, the audience would be surprised to know that several popular titles in the genre are more or less based on actual events.

It used to be so easy to make fun of Pamela Anderson: the blonde who was perceived as a big-boobed bimbo who had a sex tape to boot. But now, Anderson is in a new phase of her career – and if you can’t take her seriously now, then that’s on you. Anderson has completely shifted her public persona, ditching makeup and landing a Golden Globe nomination. Helping her navigate this journey is her son, Brandon Thomas Lee, who she had with ex Tommy Lee.
Speaking with Variety, Lee said that Pamela Anderson’s resurgence has been building for years now, “The documentary [Netflix’s Pamela, a Love Story] and book gave Pamela the opportunity to own her narrative and really present that story to the world. When we had the opportunity to do that, it was something in the back of my head...

Pamela Anderson’s eldest son Brandon Thomas Lee is getting emotional.

The actor-turned-producer is sitting on Zoom discussing her recent success in Roadside Attractions “The Last Showgirl,” which Gia Coppola directed. In the film, Anderson plays Shelly, a veteran dancer who finds herself at a crossroads when the Vegas revue she performs in abruptly closes after 30 years, just as her estranged biological daughter Hannah (Billie Lourd) re-enters her life. Liz Feldman’s No Good Deed has suspense, emotion and humor all in one. The murder mystery series starring Lisa Kudrow, Ray Romano, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu. O-t Fagbenle, Teyonah Parris, Luke Wilson and Linda Cardellini arrived on Netflix Dec. 12.
Throughout the series, several songs emphasize moments or themes in the show, like that of home, which is punctuated by Ozzy Osbourne and Motley Crue songs. A Eurythmics number sets the tone at a big scene in the finale, and a Bon Jovi song also pulls at the sinister side of the story.
Several other original songs performed by different characters put some spin on the series, which follows the Morgans, Lydia (Kudrow) and Paul (Romano) as they attempt to sell their house to reasonable buyers so that they can move on from a tragic event that happened there a few years ago. Thus, three couples — Leslie (Jacobson...

Jana Kramer’s chances of starring in a Taylor Sheridan show might’ve just flatlined, and her husband’s the one to blame. Dawn Olivieri, who heated up Yellowstone with a steamy scene alongside Wes Bentley, probably didn’t expect her on-screen moment to spark off-screen drama. But Kramer’s husband had strong feelings about it, making it clear such roles weren’t in the cards for her.

Sheridan’s shows thrive on pushing boundaries, and that kind of hesitation doesn’t exactly align with his bold storytelling. While Olivieri turned up the heat on-screen, Kramer might’ve just cooled any chances of joining Sheridan’s cowboy empire.

Pamela Anderson is setting the record straight on her marriage record. Specifically, the newly minted Golden Globe-nominated star of Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl would like the world to know that she never actually tied the knot with veteran Hollywood producer Jon Peters.
During a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter’s Scott Feinberg on his Awards Chatter podcast, the executive editor of awards asked Anderson to reveal “the biggest misconception about you?” The 57-year-old actress wasted no time in coming up with an answer. “That I’ve been married six times instead of four,” she explained. “I never was married to Jon Peters. Do you want to know the Jon Peters story?”
Of course Feinberg welcomed the anecdote, and Anderson dove right in.

Pamela Anderson is opening up about her role as Shelly in Gia Coppola's The Last Showgirl (2024). After three decades on stage, the film follows the veteran Vegas showgirl (Anderson) as she faces an uncertain future when her long-running show Le Razzle Dazzle suddenly comes to an end. Directed by Coppola (Palo Alto), the film dives into Shelly's path of motherhood and rediscovery as an era of elaborately sequined and bright-feathered costumes quietly falls to the wayside of the increasingly commercialized City of Sin.
In an interview with Deadline, Pamela Anderson discussed how her upbringing mirrored Shelly's life as an impassioned performer and mother. The Last Showgirl is a neon-lit exploration of familial bonds, set against the backdrop of a dying Las Vegas showbiz culture. As she reexamines her life, Shelly struggles to reconnect with her estranged daughter, Hannah (played by Billie Lourd), which prompts Anderson to reflect on her...

After becoming one of the most frequent cover models for Playboy in the late 1980s, Pamela Anderson soon found her footing in showbiz, as her stint on Baywatch made her one of the biggest sex symbols of the ’90s. However, this contributed to the actress being typecast into roles that demanded sex appeal, and in the long run, it took a toll on her.

Pamela Anderson had no idea that another pop culture icon, Beyoncé, would pay tribute to her. Anderson, who’s been earning raves in her role as a veteran Vegas performer in the upcoming film “The Last Showgirl,” told Variety that Beyoncé’s “Beywatch” video (in which she channels Anderson) — and the attention that ensued — was completely unexpected. “I had no idea she was going to do that,” Anderson says. “I saw it at the same time everybody else did.”
In the video, Beyoncé encouraged people to vote while donning some of Anderson’s memorable looks from “Baywatch” (with a red swimsuit that read “Beywatch”), the cult classic film “Barb Wire” and Anderson’s iconic look at 1999 MTV VMA Awards (complete with fluffy pink hat).
That’s just the latest example of Anderson’s resurgence in the cultural zeitgeist. The actress is enjoying a massive resurgence in a career where she...
