Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will live up to its genial title. Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum confirmed plans to release yearly seasons of the well-received wall-crawler animated series, starting with a sophomore installment.

Ahead of the Daredevil: Born Again premiere event, Winderbaum commented, per Collider:

"We will have a Spider-Man season every year if I have anything to say about it," Winderbaum told Collider ahead of Daredevil: Born Again premiere. "What usually happens, as you know, in animation, is that there's a bigger gap between Season 1 and Season 2 than in subsequent seasons, and that'll be similar in Friendly. We will have to wait a little bit more than a year for Season 2, but then after that, it should come out on an annual cadence, hopefully."

The stop-motion animation series Pokémon Concierge will return this September with four new episodes, inviting viewers back to the Pokémon Resort — a vibrant haven where Pokémon come to relax and enjoy.

The most adorable low-fi entry in the Pokémon franchise, Pokémon Concierge, will return to Netflix with Season 2 this year. Released on December 28, 2023, Pokémon Concierge was a very different take on the iconic franchise as the first stop-motion animated series in the saga, which focused less on battling and more on relaxation, giving viewers the ultimate chill viewing experience. The Pokémon Company is releasing a fan-favorite series on a new streaming platform for free, although viewers will have only a limited time to watch before the show becomes exclusive to Netflix once more.

In celebration of Pokémon Day 2025, Pokémon Concierge has now become available to stream on YouTube via The Pokémon Company's official channel. All four episodes were released in order beginning on Feb. 21 and are now available to watch in their entirety. The special limited run is watchable in both English and Japanese until March 9, 2025, when the four-episode series will return to only being available via Netflix.

Speaking to Cinemablend, showrunner Jeff Trammell talked about the big reveal that Peter Parker's father, Richard, is still alive in this universe, albeit in prison for an unspecified crime. The traditionally-deceased character's interaction with Aunt May also revealed that Richard is voiced by Josh Keaton, best known for playing Spider-Man in The Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon between 2008 and 2009.

Now, showrunner Jeff Trammell has dropped a big hint about what's to come in the Marvel Animation TV show by sharing a recent X post from The Spectacular Spider-Man star Josh Keaton.

As you can see below, Keaton appears to have attended some sort of cast event, prompting Trammell to say, "Huh... Would ya look at that..." Many think Chris Evans will return to the MCU in Avengers: Doomsday as Hydra's Captain America, but I think it would be better to see him bring a different version of Steve Rogers into live-action. After he debuted as Steve Rogers in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger, we saw Chris Evans' superhero undergo huge transformations and become central to the MCU. His retirement from the role in 2019's Avengers Endgame was very emotional, but we recently saw Evans back in action in Deadpool & Wolverine, and he'll be returning again very soon.

Chris Evans has been cast alongside the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Anthony Mackie, Benedict Cumberbatch and more in the Russo brothers' upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. This confirmation was soon followed by the reveal that Hayley Atwell would also be returning in the Phase 6 crossover movie, which has me very excited about the possibilities of reuniting Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter.

There's a half-serious observation in the Batman fandom that the best Batman actors are the ones who feel like they could also pull off playing the Joker. Voltron: Legendary Defender was the latest adaptation of the classic space-faring Toei anime, following a group of teenagers who are transported to Earth to fight in an intergalactic war being the steering wheel of giant robotic animal-shaped ships.
