- When starring as twelve-year-old Tootie on The Facts of Life (1979) she was actually nine years old.

Even though, Fields liked Clooney, she complained that the producers learned nothing from the troubled first season and that they should have focused on the cast's core group (Rae, Whelchel, Fields, Cohn, McKeon), instead of adding and firing cast members.
