With antisemitism surging, Israeli influencer and author Hen Mazzig is launching a new online series “And They’re Jewish,” headlined by celebrities including Emmanuelle Chriqui, Debra Messing and Mayim Bialik.
The series, which will air weekly on Mazzig’s YouTube channel beginning April 2, was created in an effort to humanize Jewish people via the personal stories of high-profile participants who explore how they engage with their religion and heritage.
According to data released by the Anti-Defamation League, the number of antisemitic incidents in the U.S. from October 2003 to September 2024 tripled over the same period a year prior. Mazzig, who co-founded the social media-focused Tel Aviv Institute and has become a go-to thought leader among Hollywood’s Jewish community, will debut the first-look teaser of the series at the Adl’s Never is Now Summit’s closing session, where Gal Gadot and trailblazing tennis champ Billie Jean King will be honored.

Superman & Loisstar Tyler Hoechlin opens up about the most difficult aspect of portraying the Man of Steel on the silver screen.
Speaking to Cbr, Hoechlin was asked what the hardest part of playing Superman was for him. "Trying to please everybody because it is a disservice to playing the characters truthfully," Hoechlin responded. When asked what the most fun part of being on the series was, co-star and Lois Lane actress Elizabeth Tulloch replied, "We love acting together and the flashbacks."

We know TV characters have to die. Sometimes, it’s the villains that we’re ready for and cheering about. Other times, it’s the good guys sacrificing themselves for something bigger. Then there are simply the shocking deaths that we just didn’t see coming. 2024 had a great mixture of them all.
Some deaths hit us the hardest. We still can’t think of the shows without thinking of those deaths. In some cases, they’ve just hit the right time despite bring filmed months or years earlier. Other deaths are purposely poignant for the social climate of the world. After all, entertainment isn’t just there for entertaining purposes.
As we get ready to say goodbye to 2024, we look back at the character deaths that destroyed us the most. The aim is for broadcast deaths only, but there are a couple of basic cable and premium cable deaths that sneak in here.

In the not-publicly-released trailer for the pilot Doug Ellin hopes to sell, Kevin Connolly pursues an entertainment industry hustle alongside Kevin Dillon. At first glance, it looks like a reboot of Entourage, Ellin’s early-2000s show about a rising actor and his team that starred Connolly, Dillon and others. Then halfway through the trailer, Charlie Sheen shows up.
Connolly, playing a version of himself, needs a hit for his podcast studio. So he approaches Sheen, who is also playing a version of himself. “This could be an amazing opportunity for both of us,” fake Connolly tells fake Sheen. “It could be your get-out-of-jail-free card.”
Ellin has described this project, Ramble On, as being about second acts and redemption. Perhaps those themes are on Ellin’s mind 20 years after Entourage premiered on HBO. He has attempted other projects since then. But that was before the renewed attention Entourage seems to be getting,...

Superman & Lois has ended, and after four seasons, the superhero series managed to bring some amazing characters from DC Comics to life, with a few exciting original characters also rising through the ranks. Superman & Lois is easily one of the best live-action DC shows ever, serving as a fitting project to end the era of DC series on The CW that started with Smallville, another Superman project, led to the Arrowverse, and finally ended with Superman & Lois season 4.
Most other live-action Superman actors will have a hard time comparing with Tyler Hoechlin's Man of Steel, as the actor was simply pitch-perfect as both Clark Kent and Superman, just like the iconic Christopher Reeve. While Hoechlin led Superman & Lois season 4's cast to an explosive finale, Clark was hardly the show's only exciting character in its final season, or all seasons, for that matter. The projects in...

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch are glad Superman & Lois' bittersweet ending stayed true to their characters' love for one another.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly after the series finale "It Went By So Fast" aired, both leads talked about the story's decision to show Clark Kent and Lois Lane's remaining 32 years as a couple until their respective deaths. Heavy spoilers ahead for the "Superman & Lois" finale.
The era of the Arrowverse is officially over, as is the era of DC superheroes on The CW. It's fitting, then, that what started with "Smallville" telling the origin of Superman over 20 years ago would end with "Superman & Lois" bringing the story of the Man of Steel to a definitive end.
Unlike most shows in the Arrowverse, "Superman & Lois" didn't take on the form of an origin story. Instead, the show followed Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) after he had already spent 20 years on the job as the Man of Tomorrow, married Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), and had two teenage sons. By the time we meet him, this version of Superman has already accomplished nearly everything you'd expect the character to go through in a movie trilogy, having even defeated Lex Luthor (Michael Cudlitz) and sent him to jail before the start of the series.

Superman and Lois had an amazing series finale with a truly powerful climax that closed out the Arrowverse in a bold way!
Caution: This article contains Spoilers for the Superman & Lois series finale
The grand finale for the series “It Went By So Fast” opened with Superman battling Doomsday, aided by his sons. It was a brutal fight before Superman finally managed to fly Doomsday into the sun. An oddly warm-hearted moment had Doomsday, in its final moments, remembering its life on that other Earth with Superman actually sad to see the brief man within the monster before it was consumed by the sun.
With Doomsday taken care of, the next step was Lex Luthor in a Kryptonite-powered suit of armor. By now realizing what a psycho Lex was, Amanda tried to quit with Lex trying to kill her, but thankfully, Jordan and Jonathan saved her.

Warning: This article contains Spoilers for Superman & Lois season 4, episode 10.Superman & Lois marks the end of one of DC's best live-action eras. The CW became known over the years for being the home of DC's live-action shows. It all started with Superman, as Tom Welling's Smallville series paved the way for several future DC series. Those would come in the form of the Arrowverse, DC's live-action TV universe that I loved following for many years. Tyler Hoechlin's Superman and Elizabeth Tulloch's Lois Lane debuted in the Arrowverse before leading their series. The fourth and final season of Superman and Lois has been thrilling audiences over the course of its 10-episode run, reminding folks that some of the best adventures in the superhero medium come from the small screen. The CW series is the last remnant of the Arrowverse, having been spun out of Supergirl, but even though it's now set on a different Earth, it has earned itself a rightful place in all of our hearts as part of the greatest shared universe to ever exist on television.
Season 4 has seen the Kent-Lane-Irons family hit by so much loss and it all began when Doomsday killed Superman himself. When the beast returned for Sam Lane, the general came up with a plan to inject himself with Bruno Mannheim's super-powered serum, which would imbue his heart with some super-powered durability. And thus, they were able to revive the Man of Steel using Sam's heart.

The “Superman & Lois” showrunners knew they had a steep assignment crafting the ending for their CW adaptation of the caped superhero’s story. They were not scared to break the mold when wrapping their series after four seasons.
And they delivered. Not only did Episode 10, titled “It Went By So Fast,” see Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) save the day from Lex Luthor, it also followed as the beloved alien grew old alongside the love of his life, Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), before dying — for the second time on the show — a considerably peaceful death surrounded by his sons, and reuniting with Lois in the afterlife before the screen faded to black.

The cast of Superman & Lois reflect the more mature ages of the Superman mythos' characters compared to most versions. Set within the CW's sprawling Arrowverse, Superman & Lois describes the adventures of an older, more experienced iteration of Clark Kent and Lois Lane, who are already married with two children, Jonathan and Jordan Kent. By the start of the first season, set in release year 2021, both Clark and Lois have already had time to gather years of experience in the field as a superhero and star reporter, respectively.
Unlike many other CW dramas, the cast of Superman & Lois have actually been incredibly thoughtful when it comes to casting. The series has been good about sticking to casting choices as close in canonical age to their characters as possible, with performers' real life ages sometimes even influencing their character's ages. It's official: Supergirl isn't going to show up in the season finale of Superman & Lois. And, as a result, that and some other regrets have now been detailed by stars Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch. Hoechlin portrayed the Man of Steel in both the Arrowverse and on the beloved CW series, but he insists on not wanting to be “greedy” where his own regrets are concerned. However, Hoechlin did mention that he actually crossed a couple of key things off of his wish list for the Superman series. These included the appearance of the characters Lex Luthor (Michael Cudlitz) and the Kryptonian killing machine, Doomsday, on the show. Hoechlin said during a panel interview (per Screen Rant):
" got really lucky [and] kind of got [my] biggest wishes. [I was] excited about those two and the fact that we've gotten see them together a lot."

Getting interviewed by Tom Cavanagh was a delight for Superman & Lois' Lex Luthor.
"He's not only a cast favorite but also a crew favorite, and he was wonderful to have on set," actor Michael Cudlitz told TVLine after The Flash star cameoed as talk show host Gordon Godfrey, setting up Lex's on-camera showdown with Lois Lane as part of his revenge scheme. Cudlitz also described Cavanagh as "a lot of fun, he has a lot of energy, he's incredibly creative, and he's not afraid to throw out everything he's done and come up with something new. He's also incredibly supportive, so I was grateful to have him on set. Hes a hoot."

Warning: This article contains Spoilers for Superman & Lois season 4, episode 8.A key new character caused mayhem in Superman & Lois' latest episode, and it seems like the DC series' version of Brainiac is finally here. Superman & Lois season 4's cast continues to grow in interesting ways with each new episode. While the show has a smaller budget than previous seasons, leading to characters like John Henry Irons and Lana Lang being used sporadically, the live-action DC TV show still finds ways to introduce exciting characters during its final season. I'm happy that we were able to get someone like Jimmy Olsen to appear in season 4.
Olsen's Superman & Lois debut allowed me to see that, despite the fact that this is the last season of the Superman series, major characters could still debut. Michael Cudlitz's Lex Luthor is finally getting to shine in season 4, cementing himself as the series' best villain.

Warning: This article contains Spoilers for Superman & Lois season 4, episode 6.After years of emotional stories, Superman & Lois season 4 ends the beloved DC series, and the show is doing right by its core characters, which includes breaking a superhero adaptation trend. There have been several live-action versions of Superman. Despite the fierce competition, Tyler Hoechlin's Man of Steel is one of the very best, and Superman & Lois season 4's cast is all-around filled with talent. Sadly, many of the actors that made the show the hit that it became have had to appear sporadically in Superman & Lois season 4.
The reason for that is the Superman series has had to deal with budget constraints in its final season, which also explains why season 4 will have only 10 episodes. Still, the Superman & Lois team clearly tried its best to service the show's fan-favorite characters and give them the best possible finales to their stories.

The final season of Superman and Lois has reached its halfway point. Superman & Lois' grounded adaptation of the DC comic made it one of The CW's strongest offerings. One actor wants to join the Dcu and take on a different role.
Alex Garfin is eager to be part of James Gunn's Dcu. The Superman & Lois actor told Screen Rant he would take on any role if given the opportunity, but he preferred a character type if he had options. "If I got that call, it'd be a different conversation," he said. "Obviously, in reality versus in theory, the characters I really want to play is probably something a little closer to myself now, though." Garfin played Jordan Kent, Clark Kent and Lois Lane's son in The CW show. Jordan Kent is introspective and socially anxious, a stark contrast to his twin brother Jonathan's personality. Half-Kryptonian and half-human, both gradually manifested Clark's superpowers in the latter episodes.

The following contains spoilers from Superman & Lois Season 4, Episodes 4, "A Perfectly Good Wedding," which debuted Oct. 21 on the CW.
While most shows would suffer with a truncated final season, Superman & Lois is handling things well. It has compressed the Death of Superman arc and reworked it by killing off Tyler Hoechlin's Clark Kent, while allowing his family and friends to continue the search for Doomsday.
In the wake of Sam Lane's death, it does feel like Superman & Lois Season 4 has a more tragic edge to it. However, Episodes 4, "A Perfectly Good Wedding," has one bright ray of sunshine: Kyle Cushing (Lana Lang's ex-husband) and Chrissy Beppo attempting to tie the knot. It builds to a surprising ending that is filled with maturity and endearment. However, the wedding is missing one key character, which severely downplays important arcs.

Taye Diggs got his start in the professional performing arts world on stage, not on screen. He had a successful Broadway career with roles in Carousel and Rent before he appeared in his first TV roles in 1996. He has become such a prolific film and TV actor since then that many might forget that hes a song and dance man first.
Diggs first big screen break was with the romance How Stella Got Her Groove Back in 1998. Hes been nonstop as an actor and writer ever since. In fact, in addition to all his work on screen, Diggs has also written four childrens books and founded a dance company. With all of his creative talent, its no wonder that he has worked on so many great movies and TV shows.
