

Marvel's "Agent Carter" debuts Tuesday night on ABC, starring Hayley Atwell as the formidable Peggy Carter.

Merged Work Productions and Jack Thomas announced today that Piece of My Heart The Bert Berns Story, the crowd-pleasing new musical based on the life and songs of legendary songwriter Bert Berns, will extend its current run two extra weeks, and play its final performance on Sunday, September 14. The rock musical began performances on June 25, and officially opened on Monday, July 21, 2014. With a book by Daniel Goldfarb, direction and choreography by Denis Jones, and featuring the stirring songbook of songwriterproducer Bert Berns, Piece of My Heart The Bert Berns Story, plays at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center 480 West 42nd St.

Like the WGA West and WGA East’s recent elections, it was a largely uncontested vote at the Animation Guild Tuesday. DreamWorks Animation Tech Director Nathan Loofbourrow takes over as the Guild Local Iatse 839’s new President. The former Guild VP and first tech director to be President replaces Bob Foster in the position. Also in an uncontested election, DreamWorks Animation writer and Guild Executive Board member Jack Thomas takes over as the new VP. Without opposition, Steve Hulett was re-elected as Business Representative, a position he has held since 1989.
