Exclusive: Lee Cronin’s The Mummy has cast Jack Reynor as the Atomic Monster/Blumhouse production for New Line is set to begin filming in Ireland and Spain. Cronin’s Doppelgängers banner is also producing. I’m told Reynor is not getting wrapped up in the title role.

The film, which is still keeping its logline under wraps, is written and directed by Cronin, and marks the first collaboration for the recently combined companies, helmed by James Wan and Jason Blum, with Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group. Pic will be released on April 17, 2026.

He did it on last week's episode of "The White Lotus," when his depressed maybe-hitman Rick sat through a stunningly unexpected monologue from an old buddy played by Sam Rockwell. This week, he's back at it again as the season enters its endgame -- which no doubt will have something to do with the man known as Jim Hollinger. Hollinger makes his entrance in an out-of-focus shot at the end of episode 5, and the hour ends with Goggins' almost imperceptibly shaken look.

Top TV director-producer and President of the Directors Guild of America Lesli Linka Glatter was one one many prominent Hollywood figures who lost their homes in the Palisades fire.

The eight-time Emmy nominee, who has worked on such series as Homeland, Pretty Little Liars, Mad Men, The Morning Show and the upcoming Zero Hour, posted a note on Instagram thanking those who had reached out to her in the aftermath of the disaster.

“I am safe, at my son’s house in the valley,” she wrote. “Sadly my house is gone, as is so much of the Palisades… this is heartbreaking for many. My heart goes out to all those who have lost so much and to those in danger.”

Also on Friday, Glatter sent a letter to DGA members about the fires, in which she shared her own experience.

In many ways, an ending can make or break a movie. The next season of Apple TV+’s The Morning Show will likely premiere long after the 2024 presidential election has ended, and that democratic process only scratches the surface of what real-life events the drama series could respond to with the time it has in production before release.

Atx TV Festival has announced the first round of events for the 2025 event, set to take place in Austin from May 29-June 1, including reunions of “The Leftovers” and “UnREAL” and a peek inside the world of Bill Lawrence.

On Monday, the festival announced “The Leftovers” will reunite during Season 14 with co-creators Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta, director and executive producer Mimi Leder, and cast members Justin Theroux, Carrie Coon, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston, Ann Dowd and Kevin Carroll. Head of Max Original Programming Sarah Aubrey will moderate.

A+E Studios will present a retrospective for Lifetime hit “UnREAL,” featuring co-creator Sarah Gertrude Shapiro and cast members Shiri Appleby, Constance Zimmer, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Craig Bierko.

This year’s festival will also include Bill Lawrence returning for “Bill Lawrence & Friends,” a panel with collaborators from some of his current and past projects such as “Bad Monkey,” “Shrinking,” “Ted Lasso,” “Scrubs,” “Cougar Town” and more.

Directed by Mimi Leder, with a script co-written by Bruce Joel Rubin and Michael Tolkin, the 1998 disaster film follows humanity's efforts to prepare for and destroy a 7-mile (11 km) wide comet on a collision course with Earth that could cause a mass extinction. The Narcos and Justified: City Primeval star recently starred on the big screen in Jeff Nichols’ The Bikeriders and will next be seen in James Mangold’s upcoming Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown (reteaming with Mangold again after Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny). He is currently filming season two of Netflix’s The Sandman, reprising his role as The Corinthian.

Filming for the new season is well underway, and viewers were able to get a preview of Season 4 as the show filmed some scenes on location in New York City.

In what seemingly looks like a protest scene, Aniston’s Alex Levy got completely drenched in a black substance. The Friends alum appeared angry during the scene where she was surrounded by extras in NYC.

Some of the signs that the extras around Aniston were carrying read “Extinction Revolt,” “Fuel Kills,” and “Climate Emergency.”

One of the photos also showed Aniston walking alongside another woman dressed identically to her, which was presumably her body double.

The Morning Show is back in production. Lead star and executive producer Jennifer Aniston has shared a new behind-the-scenes photo to announce that filming has begun on the fourth season of the acclaimed Apple TV+ series.

Per TVLine, Aniston posted two BTS images from The Morning Show Season 4 on Instagram. The first one featured Aniston with her co-stars Reese Witherspoon (who is also an executive producer) and Tig Notaro. The second photo was a shot of the title page of the Season 4 premiere script, co-written by Zander Lehmann and Charlotte Stoudt. The image revealed that the episode is titled "My Roman Empire" and will be directed by Mimi Leder. "Let @TheMorningShow season 4 games begin," Aniston captioned the post. "Here we come!"

Apple TV+ is adding another high-profile actor to The Morning Show.

Oscar and Emmy winner Jeremy Irons is joining the show’s cast for its upcoming fourth season. He’ll play Martin Levy, the father of Jennifer Aniston’s Alex Levy. It will be his first TV role since Netflix’s The Pentaverate in 2022.

Irons joins Marion Cotillard as a newcomer to The Morning Show’s cast for season four. The coming season will jump ahead two years from the season three finale cliffhanger that saw Alex’s fellow TV anchor Bradley (Reese Witherspoon) taken into FBI custody.

“We re-enter the world mid-chaos,” Aniston, who’s also an executive producer, told The Hollywood Reporter after season three ended. “Because [Alex is] jumping into something that has never existed. She’s a bit of a pioneer, and she is kind of left alone on a buoy.”

In the Apple TV+ drama’s upcoming fourth season, he will play Martin Levy, the father of Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston).

Irons first rose to prominence in 1981, when he starred opposite Meryl Streep in “The French Lieutenant’s Woman” in the roles of Charles Henry Smithson and Mike. Sources tell Variety that the decision was made before the controversy stirred by a podcast that featured Margulies last year, and that she was offered a one-episode appearance in Season 4 that she turned down. The sources also say she has been asked about her interest in returning for a potential fifth season.

Margulies joined “The Morning Show” in Season 2 as journalist Laura Peterson, who becomes Bradley Jackson’s (Reese Witherspoon) love interest; the two break up early in Season 3, though Laura’s arc continues through the remaining episodes.
