Echo On Publications has announced In the Mouth of Madness, a meta novelization of John Carpenter‘s cosmic horror film.

It follows John Trent, an insurance investigator hired to locate Cane himself after the author’s sudden disappearance. What begins as a missing person case quickly turns into something far more terrifying. Trent discovers that Cane’s stories may not just reflect reality, they may shape it.

Although credited to the fictitious Cane, the book is written by Echo On editor-in-chief Christian Francis, who has authored novelizations of Wishmaster, Session 9, and Vamp.

Peaky Blinders, the show which ran for six seasons on BBC in the UK and is streaming on Netflix in the US, will soon be coming back to screens. With the movie announced in December 2023 as a follow-up to the series, titled The Immortal Man, fans have been clamoring for details for the return of their favorite Brummie-based criminals to the screen.

After months of production updates and casting announcements of returning and new characters, series creator Steven Knight has given fans some major updates on the progress of the film. Firstly, that it will have a full theatrical release and, secondly, according to Knight, the first edit is "mind blowingly good." Knight seems pretty sure of this too, as he told The Playlist while speaking about his show A Thousand Blows.

"It was never promoted massively, but people just found it and told each other about it," he said of the show.

Jurassic World Dominion(2022) is the sixth entry in the Jurassic Park franchise and follows in the wake of the events of 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. On Wednesday, Universal released the first trailer for Jurassic World: Rebirth, the latest installment in the Jurassic Park franchise and one that ties back to the original Steven Spielberg classic. The studio dropped a shorter version of the trailer just before Sunday night’s Super Bowl kickoff.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, the new film focuses on a small group of mercenaries and scientists who head to the remote island where dinosaurs were created for the original Jurassic Park in search of dinosaur DNA to help with a medical breakthrough. Scarlett Johansson, two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, and Wicked star Jonathan Bailey lead the cast. David Koepp, who wrote the original Jurassic Park, returned to write the new film.

When director Steven Spielberg unleashed “Jurassic Park” on audiences in 1993, the sci-fi blockbuster quickly became the highest-grossing film ever at the time – and created a franchise that’s still running today.

With six films in total, the “Jurassic” franchise spans nearly three decades, with four different directors putting their stamps on what the world would look like if dinosaurs walked alongside humans.

Spielberg’s initial adaptation of the Michael Crichton novel showcased visual effects that were groundbreaking at the time, and each successive film in the franchise has attempted to one-up and/or recapture the magical mix of awe and terror that’s so effectively pervasive in the original movie.

With “Jurassic World Rebirth,” a brand new reboot of the franchise, hitting theaters this summer, there’s no time like the present to revisit the franchise. Below, we’ve put together a handy list of where every “Jurassic” movie is currently streaming.

It's no secret that the past three Jurassic World movies have been a bit divisive among fans. Starting with 2015's Jurassic World, the new trilogy starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard moved far away from the core formula of the original movie by having dinosaurs gradually make their way out into the world at large, where they caused all sorts of chaos. It’s been less than three years since the release of Jurassic World Dominion, but you can’t keep a good (or even an increasingly not-great) franchise down. And the new trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth can at least promise us Scarlett Johansson as a badass covert operative and Jonathan Bailey as a glasses-wearing dinosaur expert.

It's been just two and a half years since "Jurassic World Dominion" brought the latest "Jurassic" trilogy to a close, but it's already time for a new era full of dinosaurs and humans trying to co-exist. Universal Pictures has now revealed the first trailer for this summer's "Jurassic World Rebirth." As the title implies, this is viewed as a fresh start for the franchise, complete with new human characters and a new director -- and yes, new dinosaurs. In Jurassic World Rebirth, only a limited number of dinosaurs remain and reside in specialized biospheres, and three of these creatures hold the key to a potentially life-saving drug. “Together,” a horror film with Dave Franco and Alison Brie, has sold to Neon after premiering at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Neon plans to release the movie in theaters on Aug. 1 amid the dog days of summer.

Later this year, Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures are reviving their long-running Jurassic franchise for yet another walk in the park. Or in the world at large, I suppose, considering that the last entry, Jurassic World Dominion, saw dinosaurs get out and repopulate planet Earth. Kind of.
