Toyed with my feelings. I really understand the male protagonist because I'm kinda the same as him. Exactly like him. Digging deeper and deeper and deeper into the plenty-of-times-previously-explored-themes and presents it in a heartbreaking way. Animation, character designs, perfect. Voice-acting, emotions, perfect. Everytime...everytime! These anime movies makes me tear-up. When did I become so soft-hearted. - DirectorHaruo SotozakiStarsNatsuki HanaeAkari KitôYoshitsugu MatsuokaAfter his family was brutally murdered and his sister turned into a demon, Tanjiro Kamado's journey as a demon slayer began. Character designs, background detailing & visuals, the best ever. Actually, it's no wonder since it's from the GOAT Kyoto Studio. And adding to that, the phenomenal voice acting of Yui Ishikawa, particularly in the lake scene. Riveting OSTs. Oh and that final 30 minutes, peak emotion and drama combined together. Amazing conclusion to a spectacular story/anime, Violet Evergarden. - DirectorMakoto ShinkaiStarsKotaro DaigoNana MoriTsubasa HondaSet during a period of exceptionally rainy weather, high-school boy Hodaka Morishima runs away from his troubled rural home to Tokyo and befriends an orphan girl who can manipulate the weather.Rating - 8.8

Yes, this is what a psychological thriller is supposed to be. Edge of my seat. It's an understatement to say the animation and designs are okay considering this movie was made 25 years ago. - DirectorSôichi MasuiStarsKaito IshikawaAsami SetoInori MinaseA high school student's blissful days with his girlfriend are interrupted when his first crush returns in two forms.8.3/10
Defies logic and delivers a fan-service story. Everyone got their happy ending, or did they? A bit confusing but at the same time enjoyable since I've been fond of these characters from the series. - DirectorSeiji MizushimaStarsVic MignognaAaron DismukeJason LiebrechtEdward Elric, an alchemist from an alternate world, races to prevent the Thule Society from harnessing alchemy to wage war on his home.Rating - 8.5
Dunno what's with the low rating. The story was amazing, exept the distracting Cgi, the animation was terrific and good pacing. - DirectorHayao MiyazakiStarsDaveigh ChaseSuzanne PleshetteMiyu IrinoDuring her family's move to the suburbs, a sullen 10-year-old girl wanders into a world ruled by gods, witches and spirits, and where humans are changed into beasts.Rating - 8.5
The animation and music were top-notch and cinematic. But in my opinion, the movie is muddled with too many plot-points. And the theme is unclear, story is great, epic adventure and creative/unique. Still, felt something lacking. Might change the score after re-watch. - DirectorNoriyuki KitanoharaKazuya SakamotoNoriko TakaoStarsAya HiranoTomokazu SugitaMinori ChiharaA week before Christmas, Kyon wakes up in a world where the SOS Brigade doesn't exist. This is more like an OVA that doesn't deal mainly on Violet but I really loved this. 'cuz first, the aforementioned work of Kyoto Studio, second, the depth of the story and charcaters, then the soundtracks. - DirectorTakahiro ÔmoriStarsKôki UchiyamaAyane SakuraShinpachi TsujiHotaru is rescued by a spirit when she gets lost in a forest as a child. To try to avoid marrying a stranger she doesn't love, she sends her suitors on seemingly impossible tasks. But she will have to face her fate and punishment for her choices.(7.8/10) - A good structural story from Takahata. I like this better than Miyazaki's Spirited Away as it never had a proper structure.
