Excellent Completed Animated Series Version 2.0
Where the series is not originally in English (my native language), I have watched some of them dubbed and some of them subbed (I watch a lot more stuff dubbed now than I used to). I am open to series from anywhere in the world, but am aware that this list consists overwhelmingly of shows from Japan and to a lesser extent the US (I do watch quite a lot of US cartoon series but on the whole, they tend to have a greater number of episodes/longer total series runtime so there are many excellent US series I have not finished compared to the number of one or two cour anime I have completed) and a number of the ones I watch are also ongoing with new episodes/seasons still being released, so not suitable for a list like this). Also the notes re: violence on a handful of titles in the list are not meant as a negative judgment on the series for featuring the content, just a bit of a help for more sensitive viewers or those with younger children. Finally, these are unranked and I'm not particularly recommending one over the other for the most part - I would prefer an alphabetized list but am not sure how to do this under IMDB's new list system. EDIT: Apparently you can list titles alphabetically when viewing the list not in edit mode, but that's not completely optimal for cases like "Oh!/Ah My Goddess"... ah well. Enjoy!
