Dr. Hideki Hongo, founder of the Future Science Laboratory, is saved from one of their attacks by world class explorer Kenichi Akama. Using his Computer Boys and Girls, Hongo recruits five people, including Kenichi, to form the Dai Sentai Goggle-V (Goggle 5), the only force capable of stopping Desdark.

As time progressed the kids' bodies have adapted to the Flash solar system and have grown up as adults with super human powers. By 1986, all five of the now grown children have returned to Earth to protect it from the Mess Empire as a team known as the Supernova Flashman. While defending the planet, the Flashman have also taken the opportunity to find each of their own birth parents but eventually they will soon learn that they could not be able to live on Earth for more than a year due to their bodies being adapted from a different solar system. Know as the Anti-Flash Phenomenon, they will die if they spend exactly one year on Earth, so the Flashman must defeat the Mess Empire or watch the demise of their planet in a short amount of time.

The Tube Empire sends Princess Ial as 'Mio' to survey the surface world. Mio then falls in love with Formula 1 racer Takeru, which is a no-no for the Tube. As punishment, Ial/Mio is imprisoned in a block of ice. Takeru, determined to find Mio, Takeru then joins Maskman, a group of martial artists who use 'Aura Power' under Commander Sugata's leadership against the Tube.

Academia was a school for scientists located in Academia Island. One day, Academia's Top Three students (Tsukikage, Senda, Omura) were kidnapped by Bias. In the process, Tsukikage kills Yano Takuji and Aikawa Mari. Two years later, Volt destroys Academia. Three surviving students (Yuusuke, Jou, Megumi) Find out that the three kidnapped students lived-as Kempu, Mazenda, and Obular. The trio become Liveman to fight their former friends. Later on, Takuji and Mari's younger siblings (Tetsuya and Jun'ichi) join Liveman.

Twenty thousand years ago, the Fairy race was known to of aided humans in battle against the Boma Tribes. In the late 90's, an orbiting Earth space center run by the Earth Defense Force Sky Force has commissioned a ceremony on the "J-Project". Lead by Commander Aya Odagiri who has selected five officials to be exposed to "Birdonic Waves" a newly developed technology that can give a human super abilities. Among the subjects to the project is Ryu Tendoh who is the first volunteer to be exposed to the Birdonic Waves and thus becomes the first nominated member of the newly established Jetman team. The other four subjects were about to be exposed to the same waves as Ryu did until the space center was attacked by the Vyram, an evil outer-dimensional organization bent on inter-dimensional domination. The Vyram successfully destroy the space center along with killing most of the humans on board. After the destruction, the remaining Birdonic Waves that were meant for the now dead four officials got scattered on the surface of the Earth. Hitting four different civilians who were going about their daily lives. Odagiri and Tendoh who had successfully escaped the doom space center soon began searching on Earth for the four remaining humans with Birdonic Waves in order to fully form the Jetman team. Forming the team will be no easy task as the four civilians had no prior training in military tactics and must learn to work together and look pass their personal problems if they are willing to save the Earth from the Vyram which was being lead by the cruel Count Radiguet.

Five employees representing the "Pegasus Auto Garage" make a close encounter with an alien named Dappu of the planet Hazard. Dappu empowers the five earthlings with "Kurumagic" which grants them the power of the five legendary car constellations. This newly granted power has given the five garage workers the ability to become the Carrangers as a way to halt the law breaking space bikers known as the Space Bosozoku Bowzock.

A government agency called INET created a video game to select five highest scoring individuals that will stop an evil force known as the Nejirejia. One of the highest scoring individuals was teenager Date Kenta. Unfortunately, INET was forced to give the Digitizers to Kenta and four of his friends after an attack by Nejirejia on one of the offices

Three thousand years ago, the Space Pirates Barban invaded Earth. After an earthquake breaks the seal that held Barban is destroyed, Barban attacks them to prevent the birth of the new Gingamen. During the battle, Hyuuga is swallowed into a crack in the ground created by the Barban's leader, Captain Zahab. Enraged, Ryouma (Hyuuga's younger brother) activates his hidden Earth power and awakens the Ginga Braces. The Gingaman fight together with the Star Beasts against the Barban, who desire to revive the Demon Beast Daitanix, on whose corpse they built their castle.

The four recruits are only able to commence their mission when there is five rangers in the team. So they forced a martial artist from the year 2000 named Tatsuya Asami to become the fifth ranger. While stationed in the 21st century, Tatsuya rents a building for the other four rangers as a means of housing and running a small business called Tomorrow Research, With five rangers patrolling the city, the Londers family will not stand a chance against them.

A thousand years ago, a war was commenced between humans and the demonic Ogre Tribe Org race. With the aid of the Power Animals, the ancient Gao Warriors defeated the Org's leader, Hyakkimaru, and the Orgs were sealed off from the world.
