Poor and orphan Ravi Kumar is gifted with good singing attributes. He meets wealthy Radha Khanna and with her recommendation he lands his first singing assignment and this takes him to the way of stardom. Soon Radha starts to witness changes in Ravi's behavior towards her; which makes them split up. Unknown to Radha that Ravi has been diagnosed with cancer and does not have long to live.

Ramesh gets employ as an engineer in a factory own and maintain by the wealthy, Goyal Verma. Goyal has a daughter, Nisha who is of marriage-able age and who also is in love with Ramesh. But their marriage is unacceptable by Goyal and in retaliation he fires Ramesh from his job. This does not end here as the next day Goyal is found dead in his bedroom and Ramesh is accuse of killing him; who is also convicted in a court of law and remanded to prison. While in prison he gets to meet his look-alike Gangu - with Gangu entering into the frame-work this opens up a game between Ramesh and the real killers of Mr. Goyal.

Fearing that the Police will arrest him and his wife will leave him, he throws the body off a bridge into a river and returns home to try to lead a normal life. When the Police find Lulu's body, they discover that she had taken a taxi to Kiran's house on the night of her death. It looks like Kiran must face the consequences of being arrested and his wife leaving him.

Street-wise and poor, Amar Nath makes a living selling cinema tickets and fast-food snacks (Bhel Puri) outside cinema halls. He is taken under the wing of a politician and Chair of the "Garibon Ki Party', Shankar Narayan, allowed to join the Police Academy, and returns as a Police Inspector. He falls in love and gets married to Asha, the only daughter of multi-millionaire businessman, Sitaram. When he successfully apprehends and kills a terrorist by the name of Anil Raj, he is promoted as the Assistant Commisisoner of Police. Asha shares his joy, and soon both are informed that they will soon be proud parents. Then Amar also apprehends and kills a smuggler by the Koya Koya Atachi, and gets immensely popular with the public, so much so that Shankar Narayan resigns and asks Amar to be the Chair of the political party, which Amar accepts and quits his job from the Police Force. It is then that pregnant Asha finds out that Amar is not who he claims to be but is a pawn in the hands of skilled politicians - who have been using him as their hit-man, and now are ready to use him as the Chief Minister so that they can carry on with their nefarious activities. Watch what Asha does to prevent Amar from influencing their newborn son, and from attaining power.

Mahant Chaturvedi did not approve of his daughter marrying outside of their caste to Gopi, and as such breaks off all relations with them. Police Inspector Vijay lives a wealthy lifestyle in Bombay, India, along with his Bua, while his widower dad lives in the countryside in a farmhouse. When Jagmohan finds out that Uma also loves Vijay he forbids her to see him, but subsequently relents when she poisons herself. When bandits stop a wedding party bus on the Bombay-Poona Highway, loot, sexually molest females, and kill several passengers, Vijay is asked to investigate. His eventually arrests a Hotel Manager named Ranga, who colluded with the bandits, but Advocate Ghaswala successfully defends him and gets him acquitted resulting in the killing of the only eye-witness, a 10 year old boy. In retaliation Vijay beats up and kills Ranga, which results in him getting suspended from the Police Force. Then Vijay starts getting threats and has a bomb planted in his house. The panic-stricken family flee to the farmhouse, but bandits locate them there also and forcibly abduct Uma and Pinky after assaulting Prem. Vijay must now rush to save his wife and daughter, but the question remains will he be able to reach them on time?

Jamnadas prefers Ramu to become Janaki's husband as he thinks he is a good person and will not ask for big dowry. Janaki gets married to Ramu and that is when all the trouble starts. Janaki is not at all comfortable at Ramu's household because he cannot provide the comforts she is looking for. Things get even worse after the birth of their first child. Janaki leaves Ramu to live with Murli. Ramu eventually marries her younger sister Jyoti and Jyoti takes care of Janaki's daughter. But soon Janaki's repents her actions and wants to be with her husband and child again.
