Secrets abound as the Shadowhunters and Downworlders try to get back to normal after Valentine's death. Luke must use tough love to keep his secret hidden from Ollie who is on a war path for answers. And Magnus hides his true feelings about his new position in the Warlock community from Alec. With the institute under siege by a greater demon, tensions between shadowhunters and warlocks are higher than ever as Alec tries to remain in control of the situation.

The second season starts with Joel still in the asylum trying to make his way back home. Sheila is still locked in the basement. Abby and Eric continue the search for Serbian bile to finish the serum.

Joe and Sheila brainstorm how to eliminate rival realtors from the competition without resorting to murder. Abby and Eric attempt to cover their tracks.

After encountering an undead Gary, Sheila and Joel attempt to fulfill his final equest. Eric makes a shocking discovery after a date with Ramona.

Joel decides how to handle his role in Sheila's new lifestyle. Eric has trouble with a girl. Abby deals with her rage. And everyone must try to be "normal."

Abby has a date, which is hard for Eric to deal with. Sheila is having trouble getting along with her boss. Joel does some research and pays colonel Ted a visit to find out if he is also undead.

Joel goes looking for the third undead with hope it will prove it was the clams. Sheila struggles with her career. The new cop on the block wants to tango.

The Hammonds try better parenting. Eric is super helpful in the search of where the clams came from. Carl revs up Sheila's stress levels.

Trying to remember what happened during her blackout, Sheila discovers who she killed and that Lisa wants to get baptized. While covering her tracks with Joel, Eric and Abby are gathering the tools they need for a rebellious act.

Joel and Sheila panic, having to deal with Anne's paintings, a deadline to stop the dangerous clams from spreading, and on top of it all standing in the way of a rocket launcher.

The Professor recruits a young female robber and seven other criminals for a grand heist, targeting the Royal Mint of Spain.

Hostage negotiator Raquel makes initial contact with the Professor. One of the hostages is a crucial part of the thieves' plans.

Police grab an image of the face of one of the robbers. Raquel is suspicious of the gentleman she meets at a bar.

Raquel is adversely affected by a personal crisis with her ex-husband. The hostages are afraid of the sound of gunshots they heard. Thieves argue among themselves.

A sudden development in the investigation and a mistake made by one of the thieves confronts the Professor with a serious risk that could lead to his identity being revealed.

As the Professor rushes out of the scrap yard, a man sees him. The Professor threatens to kill the man's family. Berlin discovers that Denver did not kill Mónica as ordered and comes close to executing him for his disobedience.

The robbers initiate a plan to use the hostages to stall the police and gain more time, but Raquel takes the chance to reveal a secret that Berlin has kept from the others. She also makes an attempt to convince Rio to surrender.

Raquel loses her trust in Ángel. Arturo prepares another plan to escape, but becomes devastated upon discovering Mónica and Denver's affair. Ángel, who is taken off the case, is in a coma after a car accident while driving drunk.

The Professor talks with Raquel's mother on stressful conditions. Berlin wants thieves to choose between money and freedom from the hostages.

The police finds the house where The Professor has planned everything. Tokyo and Berlin are fighting about how to proceed.

Tokyo is questioned by the police. The Professor and Raquel's ex-husband are getting into a fight.

The hostages are trying to execute an outbreak, while things are escalating between the robbers. Will The Professor make his call in time?
