      The Tele 5 anchors are played by Oliver Kalkofe and Peter Rütten, the hosts of the German show Die schlechtesten Filme aller Zeiten (2013) (The Worst Movies of all Time), in which they show and comment on bad movies (they have presented every Sharknado movie and are one of of the reasons for the success of the films in Germany). Both previously had a cameo in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2015) as rollercoaster riders. Additionally, Oliver Kalkofe's colleagues Dietmar Wischmeyer (cabaret artist) and Oliver Welke (host of heute-show (2009), writer on Kalkofe's Wixxer movies) also have a cameo.

      (at around 15 mins) One of the characters states "London Bridge is falling down", however, the bridge that was falling down was in fact Tower Bridge, which is often mistaken for London Bridge.

    Sharknado 5: It just doesn't get any better does it!?

    Sharknado 5 is by far the wackiest, craziest and most over the top movie in the franchise. But here is the problem, that isn't a good thing.

    The action sequences are still dumb and look awful, the wall to wall "Jokes" simply aren't funny and the movie has absolutely no redeeming features.

    Movie references, various celebrity cameos and Tara Reid grunting like a pig in heat in every other scene.

    I do hope, I do pray (And I don't even believe in that nonsense) that this is the end but considering the cliffhanger ending I fear we'll see more shortly.
