A very good movie
I appreciated the unique story, the cast, it's captivating and surprising. I don't understand the complaints of others, I liked many aspects. It conveys something very positive, it's decent, professional, humane, relaxing. It's not kitsch, I think it's quality. It's very good after a hard day or at the end of the week, for the whole family. Very good script.
The image quality and the editing are good, the story is beautiful, it uses clever means, Ramon's naivety is relaxing, a breath of fresh air in an aggressive, rushed and bad world from which we need to get out even for an hour or two. I wasn't bored at all, the actors are very good, the ones I usually admire, I had some nice surprises. Numbers shouldn't matter, they don't necessarily speak about the quality of a movie. It's a decent, warm, friendly, funny movie, incomparable to others being produced in the commercial movie area in Romania. I really liked the Odeon theater scene. I would see part 2 of the movie, I hope it gets made, I would watch it with pleasure.
It's a movie that I recommend, the idea of a good movie is not just to impress, for me it's enough that there is a beautiful story, a good cast and an interesting directorial vision. There is much to admire in Pavel's movie.
