When a timid, low-level corporate demon gets promoted to CEO of Hell LLP, he must overcome jealous adversaries, office politics, physical dangers and his own personal demons to learn what is broken in Hell, and figure out how to fix it to save the universe.

As a low level, data-entry demon working at Hell LLP, Azmodeus' existence is rather miserable. When he receives a call to the top office, Az' life will change forever, and not necessarily for the better.

Nyx informs Azmodeus that he must select a Devil's Advocate as a member of his personal staff. Az experiences the hellish side of interviewing, and finds out what's at stake.

After Azmodeus makes an unconventional choice for his Advocate, Hades confronts him. Nyx helps Az handle Hades and lets Az in on one of the secrets of Hell LLP.

While pouring over the corporation's finances, Azmodeus finds an anomaly in Soul Contracts. He questions Mephistopheles, who takes Az on a soul collection, and Az learns more about the odds stacked against him.

Azmodeus and Persephone get trapped in an elevator. While waiting for rescue, Persephone gets Az to open up and offers him some important advice.

Mammon, head of security, has been sent by Hades to 'take care of' Azmodeus. With no friends, skills, or hope for escape, Az must face Mammon alone.
