Luxor Live is the second part of the three part interactive 'show' "Secrets of the Luxor Pyramid" that played at the Luxor Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. It continues the story of part one, In Search of the Obelisk (1993), in which a team of archaeologists discovered advanced alien technology in a pyramid and caverns in the Nevada Desert. In Luxor Live, visitors become part of a studio audience as a fake TV talk show is being filmed, featuring a debate between archaeologist Mac MacPherson and Colonel Claggert, characters from part one. When a live feed takes the viewers to Egypt, where Mac's associate Carina Wolinski covers a solar eclipse, suddenly bizarre supernatural phenomena start to occur, which are presented as a stereoscopic 3D animation.
