Thanks to Krieger's genetic experimentation, Savage now has super-human strength, speed and agility. However, his powers are unstable and fluctuate violently. General Hawk leaves Savage in charge of a group of talented but irresponsible sergeants facing court martial and quickly whips them into shape. They dub themselves "the Screaming Eagles". Krieger, now taking on the guise of General Blitz, leader of the terrorist organization, the IRON Army, plots to attack a space platform and steal a NASA rocket with a satellite inside which will give him control over the world's computers. Sgt. Savage and his Screaming Eagles learn of Krieger's plot and deploy for action.
