The Institute participates in five cross-institutional MSc (Master of Science) programmes with Greek Universities. A new MSc programme in Quantum Computing & Quantum Technologies is scheduled to start in 2022, while a MSc programme in Artificial Intelligence started successfully in 2019 along with the rest of our well-established and appealing programmes in Data Science and cross-cutting ICT & Special Education and ICT & Health.
The MSc in Artificial Intelligence is the result of a collaboration between the Department of Digital Systems of the School of Information and Communication Technologies, of the University of Piraeus and the IIT (led by SKEL Lab) of NCSR Demokritos. The MSc operated for the first time from the academic year 2019-2020, accepts applications from graduates of relevant fields. Artificial Intelligence is a dynamic field of Computer Science internationally, most relevant in our days, overflowed with related opportunities and challenges.
This MSc in Data Science: Find your way in Big Data programme is the result of a collaboration between the University of the Peloponnese and the IIT (led by SKEL Lab) of NCSR Demokritos. The Program accepts applications from graduates of University Departments in STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) or other relevant specialties.
The interinstitutional-interdisciplinary postgraduate programme MSc in ICTs & Special Education – Psychopedagogy of Integration is the result of a collaboration between the Department of Greek Philology of the School of Classics and Humanities at Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.TH.) and the IIT (led by NML & Mind Lab) of NCSR Demokritos. The MSc offers postgraduate specialisation and theoretical proficiency in matters relating to Special Education and its Integration Pedagogy, as well as the use of ICTs for the integration and education of the above populations.
The MSc in Clinical Exercise and Applications of Technology in Health is the result of a collaboration between the department of Physical Education Science of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science of the Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.TH.) and the IIT (led by ISL Lab) of NCSR Demokritos. The MSc is running since the academic year 2018-2019.
The MSc in Quantum Computing & Quantum Technologies is a collaboration between the Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications, the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (INN) and the Democritus University of Thrace. The postgraduate programme aims to introduce students to cutting-edge applications and research in the area of quantum computing and quantum technologies. Quantum computers and quantum technologies are at the core of the second quantum revolution, which is expected to have a significant impact on all sciences, in the industry as well as in health and everyday life.
