Catalogers use the SkyRiver client to search, edit, and export records. Alternatively, they can search and export records via Z39.50.

Real-time Interaction

As the cataloger exports bibliographic records from SkyRiver, the library’s holding information is transferred back to the SkyRiver database in real time.

Records Integrity

The SkyRiver database is populated with MARC21 records from the Library of Congress, the British Library, INN-Reach central servers, and other vendor partners. It also includes all of the Library of Congress’s name, subject, and genre authority records and participates in national cataloging programs as well as a NACO node and BIBCO member.
