numpy.core.defchararray.rstrip(arr, chars=None) is another function for doing string operations in numpy. It returns a copy with the trailing characters removed for each element in arr.
Parameters: arr : array_like of str or unicode. char : [str or unicode, optional] the set of characters to be removed. If omitted or None, it removes whitespace. The chars argument is not a prefix or suffix; it is all combinations of its values which we want to strip. Returns : [ndarray] Output array of str or unicode, depending on input type.
Code #1 :
Output:
Input array : ['Sun' ' Moon ' 'Star']
Output array: ['Sun' 'Moon' 'Star']
  Code #2 :

Output array: ['Geek' 'For' 'Geek']
  Code #3 :
