Fort Benning, the United States Army post, is located southeast of Columbus and is by far the city's largest employer. The city is home to many museums and other tourist sites including The Columbus Museum, National Civil War Naval Museum, the Coca-Cola Space Science Center and the National Infantry Museum. The city also houses a number of performance arts venues in addition to the Chattahoochee RiverWalk, Columbus Fall Line Trace and numerous golf courses.
