The Good Fight, a spin off from legal drama The Good Wife, wrapped up its sixth and final season this week. The question now is if there will be more Good things to come.
It definitely felt like something that the finale was teasing, what with Christine Baranski's Diane Lockhart and Sarah Steele's Marissa Gold set to run an all-female law firm.
Sadly, the show's creators Michelle and Robert King have stated that the plot development was less of a setup and more of wrapping things up neatly with a bow, with Michelle telling TVLine that the all-female firm was "not meant as a tease or a trial balloon".

"It really was this idea of, ‘OK, how is Diane going to continue her fight? How does she not give up, in spite of it all?'"
Robert added: "We have been dangling this all-female firm like a true carrot [for several seasons], so it felt interesting to grab it."
In September, Baranski explained that while the creators wanted to end the show on their own terms rather than have it be cancelled, the news of it ending still came as a shock to her.

"My heart dropped," she said. "I tried to be sanguine and understand the reasoning for it, but it was a loss of so many things: the consistency of the work, the marvellous group of people that constitute the show, the marvellous writing.
"I don't think I ever took for granted just how lucky I was to be on such a quality show. I started enjoying the work more than ever in my final few seasons."
The Good Fight is available via CBS All Access in the US. In the UK, the first three seasons are available for Prime Video subscribers, while the first five seasons can be purchased via Apple TV/iTunes.
