It may have axed one animated sitcom in BoJack Horseman recently, but Netflix has a new project titled Hoops coming out.
Featuring the voice of Jurassic World and New Girl actor Jake Johnson, we've got a first-look teaser for the show, which follows the trials and tribulations of "total loser" and high school basketball coach Ben Hopkins.

Via Collider, the official synopsis for Hoops reads: "An animated sitcom that centers on a hot-headed, foul-mouthed high school basketball coach who thinks turning around his god awful team will take him to the 'big leagues' and turn his miserable life around."
The trailer in question steals a funny scene where Lenwood High Colts boss Ben attempts to finish a training session by sinking a basket in front of his young team.
"As everybody knows, it's bad luck to end practise on a miss..." he states, before failing to get even one ball through the hoop – cue the swearing.

Meanwhile, Step Brothers star Rob Riggle is also part of the voice cast, playing Ben's dad Barry Hopkins. A frequent detractor of his son, their relationship will be one to definitely watch out for.
Natasha Leggero portrays the main character's estranged wife Shannon, while Ron Funches and Cleo King also have supporting roles.
The new sitcom is the brainchild of Ben Hoffman, who previously worked with Johnson on New Girl.
Hoops begins streaming Friday, August 21 on Netflix.
