Samsung's latest S24 phones are some of the best phones you can buy in 2024.
Now is a great time to buy, because until October 3 2024, you can claim a free Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go in Titan Grey when you buy any Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ or S24 Ultra. You'll need to visit samsungoffers.claims/chromebookgoGWP within 30 days of purchase to make your claim.
This offer is available in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland for those aged 18 years old or over only, and further terms apply.
If you're planning on buying a handset from the S24 family outright, our top retailer recommendations are the Samsung website or Amazon. But there are lots of other retailers that stock the phones too, including Argos, Very, Carphone Warehouse and Currys.
If you're looking for a new mobile phone contract, most of the top providers offer the S24 series, such as EE, Voxi, Sky, Tesco Mobile, giffgaff and more. You'll still be able to claim the cashback offer.
To help you narrow down your search, we've listed all the best current deals below.
Samsung Galaxy S24 September 2024 deals
At the beginning of 2024, Samsung unveiled its latest S24 series of smartphones during a Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event livestreamed on YouTube. Not only are they the best Samsung phones yet, but they're some of the top Android phones you can buy in 2024 too.
The S24 series includes three devices, building on the success of previous Galaxy generations such as the S22 and S23 series. As usual, the line-up includes an entry-level "standard" S24 and tops out with the flagship Ultra model.
Best Samsung Galaxy S24 series deals
At Amazon, the Samsung Galaxy S24 handset with 128GB of storage in Onyx Black is currently selling for £699. You can buy the Samsung Galaxy S24+ for £999. If you're hoping to buy the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra it currently costs £1,049.

Samsung S24 cases
The Galaxy S24 Series smartphones are made of tough stuff. Both the S24 and S24+ boast an aluminium frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the S24 Ultra is even hardier, combining a titanium frame with Corning Gorilla Armor.
Nonetheless, any smartphone owner who has grieved over a cracked screen will be looking at a protective case to use with their flashy new device. You do not want to risk damage to the phone, especially if you still have months or years of repayments to make.
We're big fans of Samsung's official Smart View Wallet Case (S24), which gives you the option to access part of the screen without opening the case – perfect for answering calls or skipping through streaming songs when you're in a hurry. It comes in Black, Violet, Light Green and White. A slightly different version of the same case is available for the S24 Ultra.
Another exciting option from Samsung is this Flipsuit case for the Galaxy S24, which combines a transparent case with interchangeable content cards. Your phone uses NFC to sense which card has been loaded, and changes its lock screen to match. This case also comes in an S24 Ultra size.
There are lots of third-party brands making cases for the S24 series, too. For instance, ZAGG has a great range of cases and other accessories for the S24/S24+ and the S24 Ultra.
This low-cost clear case and screen protector bundle gives your S24 phone the protection it deserves, while allowing the phone's design to shine through.
Samsung S24 accessories
Samsung sells a comprehensive range of accessories to go with the Galaxy S24 Series phones, including power accessories and other compatible tech such as smartwatches and earbuds – as well as cases.
This 10,000mAh battery pack is a handy resource for S24 owners who will be using their device heavily, on-the-go. It can provide 25W superfast charging, when only one of its two charging ports is in use.
If you'd like to protect your S24 Ultra, but don't see the need to encase its entire titanium frame, then you might still want to take an extra step to safeguard its screen. Samsung's official Anti-Reflective Screen Protector (pack of 2) is an ideal solution.
Why you should buy the Samsung Galaxy S24
The Samsung Galaxy S24 upgrades upon previous S-Series smartphones, with a faster processor and a brighter screen than earlier base models.
It measures 147.0 x 70.6 x 7.6 mm, has 2340 x 1080 (FHD+) resolution and features a Deca-Core CPU.
Samsung is pushing on-board Galaxy AI as a key strength of the S24 Series. Headline AI-assisted features include live translation, note assistance, chat assistance, and Circle to Search with Google (which initiates a web search when you circle content using your finger or the phone's S pen stylus).
The S24 Series smartphones feature real-time voice translations while you're on a phone call, either verbally or on-screen. Up to 13 languages will be supported at launch, including English, French, Chinese and Spanish.
Meanwhile, an Interpreter feature translates multilingual conversations in real-time, so you can use it to ask a stranger for directions, for example. Translation is also available in Chats, via a feature called Chat Assist.
Another interesting feature, Transcript Assist, makes transcripts based on audio recordings, and can distinguish between multiple speakers.
The S24's camera is also AI-equipped, with features such as a nightography zoom for after-dark photography, and photo assist for easier image editing. There's also an optical zoom to help you create detailed images, at a long distance.
The S24 is available in four colours at launch: Onyx Grey, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet and Amber Yellow.
Why you should buy the Samsung Galaxy S24+
The Samsung Galaxy S24+ comes with somewhat higher specs than the base S24, including a larger screen (6.7" full rectangle), greater battery capacity (4,900 mAh) and superior resolution (3120 x 1440 (Quad HD+)).
The S24+ is available in the same four colours as the base S24: Onyx Grey, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet and Amber Yellow.
Why you should buy the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
One of the key distinctions with the Ultra is the quality of its camera, which Samsung is promoting as its "smartest AI-powered camera ever". The model features a 5x optical lens and 50MP sensor.
In terms of performance, the S24 Ultra beats the S24+ on some key specs, such as CPU speed (3.39GHz, 3.1GHz, 2.9GHz, 2.2GH) and its rear camera resolution (200.0 MP + 50.0 MP + 12.0 MP + 10.0 MP).
The S24 Ultra comes in a range of special finishes, including Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, Titanium Violet and Titanium Yellow. The use of titanium, in place of the more traditional aluminium, should make the S24 Ultra extra tough, in theory.
