Amazon Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Cube July deals
If you're looking to buy one of Amazon's Fire TV Sticks and Fire Cubes, don't pay full price for it. There are regular discounts on all of Amazon's own-brand gadgets, especially during sales like Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday. That includes Fire TV sticks, Echo Dots, Kindles, Fire TVs and Fire tablets.
Amazon's Fire TV Sticks and Fire Cubes are some of the best streaming devices you can buy, transforming any brand's TV with an easy-to-use smart interface. All you need to do is plug it into your current set via HDMI, and you'll have access to all of the top streaming services, as well as the Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
We're keeping an eye out for discounts on the Fire TV Stick/Cube range this summer. Here, you'll find all the latest prices, as well as a little bit of info about the key features of each device.
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K
Amazon's popular streaming gadget, the Fire TV Stick 4K, has an RRP of £59.99 but can regularly be found for less than £40.
This 2023 edition supports Wi-Fi 6, and Amazon says it's 25% more powerful than the previous model. It also has a slightly modified design, with rounded corners.
The Fire TV Stick 4K is a good option if you have a 4K TV at home and want to stream your favourite shows in Ultra HD, hi-res quality. This is one of the most popular streaming sticks Amazon offers, and it's the perfect way to upgrade your streaming capabilities.
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max
The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is Amazon's most powerful streaming stick and retails at £69.99. The cheapest we have seen it is £39.99.
The Fire TV Stick 4K Max 2023 edition was upgraded to include 16GB storage (double the storage of the previous model), Wi-Fi 6E support, and a powerful 2.0GHz quad-core processor for faster streaming.
If you want the very best streaming stick Amazon offers, this is the one.
Amazon Fire TV Stick
The Fire TV Stick usually sells for £44.99 but as it is a basic Fire Stick model it regularly gets its price slashed below £35.
If you don't have a 4K TV or intend to stream on something that doesn't support 4K, this might be the option for you.
This Fire TV Stick still supports full HD and includes all the apps that every other Fire Stick offers. Plus, it's packaged with an Alexa voice remote.
Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite
The entry-level Fire TV Stick Lite has an RRP of £34.99 but a good deal for this streamer is around £25, although we have even seen it drop to around £18 in the past.
Unlike the remote included with the Fire TV Stick 4K, the Alexa Remote Lite bundled with this device doesn't have dedicated power, volume and mute buttons.
The Fire TV Stick Lite still offers Full HD streaming and the usual access to apps, Alexa skills and channels, plus the same ease of setup.
Amazon Fire TV Cube
The Fire TV Cube retails at £139.99, although sale periods such as Prime Days and Black Friday can see its price dip to £100 or less.
The third-generation Fire TV Cube is the most feature-rich Fire TV device available. It's 20% more powerful than the previous Fire Cube and twice as fast as the first-generation 4K Max Fire TV stick.
The Fire TV Cube was the first streaming media player in the industry with an HDMI input port and WiFi 6E support, and it comes with an Alexa Voice Remote Pro.
You get 4K streaming on your TV, and you can use Alexa voice control to navigate menus, adjust the volume of your home cinema set-up, and find the shows you want to watch.
Amazon Fire TV smart TV deals
For users who like to keep things simple, several smart TVs come pre-loaded with Fire TV functionality.

• Amazon Fire TV 55-inch Omni QLED: £749.99

Fire TV Sticks explained
Amazon Fire TV Sticks can hold all your favourite streaming apps, from Prime Video (of course) to Apple TV+, Netflix, Disney+, Spotify and countless more that you can access with a click of a button (or via voice control with Alexa) to instantly stream your desired content.
While many TVs have smart features, not all sets do, and a Fire Stick is a great way to keep all your apps in one place.
They're handy for travelling, too, as they're portable enough to stuff into a bag if you're going on holiday and want all your streaming services ready to go. All you need to do is plug it into the HDMI port on a TV.

Most of the time, you don't have to be an Amazon Prime subscriber to take advantage of any Fire Stick deals at Amazon. But you may need to sign up during the sales such as Prime Day and Black Friday, as some discounted products may be exclusive to Prime members.
If you've never been subscribed to Prime or haven't signed up in a long time, you may be able to use a free trial. This will give you all of the benefits of Prime including access to any exclusive price drops across the sale period.
Amazon Prime membership currently costs £8.99 per month or £95 per year in the UK, and $14.99 per month and $139 per year in the US.
Prime membership perks include exclusive discounts on products, free next-day delivery, access to a huge range of shows and movies with Prime Video, Amazon Music and much more. You can also get some local discounts which vary by region.
