Conclave has picked up eight nominations at this year's Oscars to go with its field-leading 12 nominations at the BAFTAs.
Based on the novel by Robert Harris, the thriller is set during a papal conclave to elect the next pope. Cardinal Thomas Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) is given the responsibility of leading it, only to uncover secrets and scandals about each leading candidate.

As mentioned above, Conclave is still out in select cinemas so you might be able to head to your favourite cinema to check it out today.
If you are planning a cinema trip to see the movie, you can also save money by taking advantage of a variety of cheap cinema ticket deals at major chains including Vue and Odeon.
But Conclave is also available to watch at home right now too in both the UK and the US.
In the UK, you can buy or rent Conclave from Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and other participating digital retailers.
If you're in the US, you can buy or rent the movie from the likes of Prime Video and iTunes.
You can also pre-order Conclave on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD ahead of its release in the UK, but a release date has yet to be confirmed for the physical home release.
Is Conclave available to stream?
We've got good news and bad news, and it entirely depends on whether you live in the UK or the US.
In the UK, Conclave is not yet available to watch on any streaming service. It will eventually be able to watch on Prime Video for all subscribers, but the earliest we can probably expect it is late May 2025.
Conclave was released by Black Bear in the UK on November 29, 2024 and Black Bear movies, such as Longlegs, typically take around six months from their cinema release to arrive on Prime Video.
In the US though, Conclave is available to watch right now on Peacock for all subscribers after its release on December 13, 2024.
If you're in the US and not a Peacock subscriber, you can sign up to the streaming service from $7.99 per month.
Conclave is out now in cinemas, and is also available to buy or rent from Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and more in the UK.
