The Good Fight and Da 5 Bloods star Delroy Lindo also recently signed on for a significant role in the film – though his exact role isn't known either.
New cast member Pierre has previous superhero genre experience in the Worlds of DC when he played the Kryptonian trooper Dev-Em in Superman prequel show Krypton.
The actor has also had significant parts in US Civil Rights series The Underground Railroad and the historical epic Britannia, as well as starring in summer blockbuster Old.

Disney recently tapped the actor to voice Mufasa in a Lion King prequel, with The Trial of the Chicago 7's Kelvin Harrison Jr voicing Scar.
After Mahershala Ali's Blade officially debuted in the MCU last year, the esteemed actor spoke about his approach to the beloved character.
Speaking about his special cameo in Eternals, Ali told Empire: "It was scary. Because, you know, you're talking before you're filming it. I'm pretty particular about my choices, like most actors, and so having to make some choices – even with a line, vocally – this early on, it brought up some very real anxieties.
"And it made the job real. It's like, 'Okay, this is happening now,' you know, and that's exciting."
Marvel Studios hasn't announced an official release date yet for the new Blade movie.
