Official inauguration of the Sigi von Koeding-Anlage in Basel

On August 26, 2024, the leisure facility on Hochstrasse in Basel was named in a ceremony after the graffiti artist DARE, who died in 2010 and is famous and appreciated far beyond Basel’s borders.

The publication Graffiti Expressionism. DARE / Sigi von Koeding in Basel by Kai Hendrik Schlusche is published accordingly. The book explores the extent to which the works of DARE and other graffiti artists reflect the original values of expressionism.
