Avis is the result of a search for something honest, an artistic expression that comes from years of work and experimentation by musician and sound engineer Matías Torres. The musical compositions were created with sound materials from different sources combined with energetic percussions that show complex patterns, creating soundscapes that stimulate the listener's contemplation and imagination. As keyboardist, Matías Torres has been part of numerous bands from the Chilean music scene, mainly featuring projects such as Mutakxsis, Senciyo and Navez. In contrast to these, you can clearly appreciate in Avis the creativity and talent of his artistic journey that doesn't limit himself or have preconceptions when using music as a means of expression.
