Gatuzo is a band founded by Damir Trkulja Šiljo and Goran Martinjak in 2004. They released their first album "Legs/arms/head" in 2007, confirming their status as one of the most powerful new rock bands. They continued their success with the release of the album “!” (2009), "Where are we going" (2013) and "Megalomania" (2014). In 2019, they released their fifth album "Out of Control".
They won many awards, among which stand out Porin for the best alternative rock album, the Status award for the best young rock band and five nominations for Porin in various categories. They are known throughout the region for their incredibly energetic performances, and they also collaborated with the giants of the local music scene, Goran Baret and Saša Antic from TBF. They call their unusual musical style and way of playing explosive rock, which is adorned with rawness, originality and a subconscious dependence on the blues. With critics, they received a status symbol as one of the most active and productive bands today.
In 2022, they are joined by two new members, Marin Živković (Porto Morto) on saxophone and Ivan Martinčić on bass. This year, they will release their sixth studio album, and they announce it with the single "Trošimo vrijeme".
