Music for the late night overthinkers
Cyrano is music for the late night overthinkers.
Dreamt up in his bedroom, the Scottish born, London grown producer and multi-instrumentalist crafts his sound in the twilight hours, soundtracking late nights and long drives home from the studio.
Cyrano released his debut single ‘White Wine’ on 24th March, after premiering on Jess Iszatt’s BBC Introducing show. Featuring Nilüfer Yanya's Jazzi Bobbi, White Wine remembers those fleeting moments with consequential strangers who can shift your worldview in one late-night conversation. The track celebrates the friendships he made while recording in Los Angeles one summer, inspired by Arthur Russell, Foals and Frank Ocean.
White Wine made Number 1 on Hype Machine on the back of a wealth of press coverage, landing numerous playlist additions. Cyrano celebrated the release by collaborating with Garçon Wines to personify the track in a limited-edition flat bottle of wine, made from 100% recycled plastic, which sold out in just half an hour.
Alongside a UK tour with Leif Erikson, 2021 will see an exciting and diverse range of material to follow. Inspired by the philosopher Alain de Botton, his debut EP Consolations is set for release this autumn, produced by Foals’ Kit Monteith and Luke Smith.
