Andrew Thomas is an English singer songwriter who trained at ACM Europe's leading contemporary music school and at Napier University in Edinburgh. His albums feature jazz bassist Mario Caribe, guitarist and producer Ross Henderson, percussionist Cameron Phair, harmonica player Alan David Ross and violinist John Bews. Lanterns is a collection of pieces written at Napier University. Love and trust contains some of his best songs as does Stars Shine with songs honed over years of gigging the Edinburgh music scene. World’s in view was the most fun creatively with two songs featuring string quartets. Best Of (2004-2016) is a collection of the best songs from the first four albums. Over the horizon charts a fall from grace as does some of the songs on Destiny unplugged. A Retrospective contains two songs from each album to give a history of his music to date. Love will wait for you is a collection of previously unreleased material from university days. Recently Andrew has gone in a new direction producing guitar instrumental albums. Blue, Orange and Sunburst Guitar are all acoustic instrumentals with covers and originals. Elements is an electric guitar album of jazz standards. Wildwood Lake is an original themed album and End of Time features a crossover of guitar solos with breakbeat rhythms.
