Sussex born and raised, Curtis Jay lives and breathes dance music. Curtis found inspiration for music from a young age and has since been working to make a career out of what he loves most.
With the goal of producing dance music has always been at the forefront of his mind, the hard work and determination have already paid off for Curtis, as he was blessed with the chance to meet and observe two of his inspirations, Swiss DJ EDX and Toolroom Head Honcho, Mark Knight.
More recently Curtis has undertaken tutoring from Ben Remember & Pete Griffiths (Toolroom Academy) as he grows further in his music production.
This year Curtis and his dad Nick (former owner of R&B label Urbanstar) began a new venture, they teamed up and created House label Xzooberant Records. With a few releases under their belts already, 2020 is looking to be a good year for them.
Between Summer 2018 and 2019, Curtis hosted a weekly show live on Trickstar Radio. Guests included Wheats, Ant Nichols & DBL-C. During this time he was headhunted by 'Decadance', to present and host a monthly residency on their radio show. If you'd like to hear the show, catch him on the first week of every month!
With his production growing and career starting to form, he's definitely one to watch out for as he breaks his way into the scene.
