00:00Hi, I'm Andrew Elboh, and welcome to my tiny house.
00:08Hello, welcome to another episode of OG's Unique Homes Series.
00:12Come on, let's go inside.
00:14This is 150 square meters, the lot area.
00:17This was acquired in 2018 by my parents.
00:20I just thought of putting a rest area of this type of house
00:23where my family and I can rest.
00:26And then, I'll just explain to you my parking space.
00:30When you enter, the parking is right there.
00:32And then, I also have a garden.
00:34This is our glamping area
00:36where we barbecue, hang out, and drink.
00:40Then, I put string lights to create a bright ambience.
00:50We started this in October 2020 during the pandemic.
00:55It was finished after three months.
00:57The unique feature of this tiny house,
00:59for me, is the view of Sierra Madre.
01:03Then, secondly, if you just want to live in a small house,
01:07just a small living,
01:08I can suggest this to those who are just starting
01:10and to bachelors or even women who are just starting.
01:15So, this floor area is 3 meters by 6 meters long.
01:20My inspiration for this is what I saw on Pinterest,
01:23and even on YouTube.
01:24It's an industrial design, a container van.
01:27But what we did was just fabricated.
01:29We used a long span and then I-beam
01:33for its posts.
01:34Then, I just separated the kitchen and the CR
01:37because what I want inside is just our living area.
01:46So, this is the outdoor kitchen.
01:48I put the kitchen here so that we don't have to squeeze inside.
01:51It's also so that the house doesn't smell.
01:54And then, the bathroom.
01:56Our bathroom is here, also outside.
01:58It's simple, all white,
02:00and it's still an industrial design.

02:07for our future plans to make this tiny house a coffee shop,

04:27in the rain,
04:29sometimes, there are leaks
04:32but we fixed it
04:34because, like those mirrors,
04:36sometimes, they get wet.
04:38So, you have to take care of that.
04:40So, when it rains,
04:42I check right away where the leaks are.
04:44Then, in terms of heat,
04:46because the house is facing
04:48the sun,
04:50the downside is
04:52when it's morning, it's too hot.

04:56we put styrofoam.

05:32Then, our bed is improvised.
05:34We put the cabinets below
05:36and the drawer there
05:38so that we can put our clothes
05:40and personal stuff.
05:44So, the highlight of this house
05:46or this bedroom is the view
05:48where you can see
05:50the Sierra Madre and the river.
05:52So, it's good here
05:54when you wake up in the morning
05:56because you'll be famous in the morning.
05:59So, you might think
06:01that Mrs. and I can see each other
06:03during sex time.
06:05No, because we used a reflective mirror.
06:07So, when we're outside,
06:09we can't see each other.
06:11We also have blinds for sunproofing
06:13and privacy.
06:19The cost of building this house
06:21when we did it,
06:23it cost me almost P900,000.
06:25But with that,
06:27the aircon and the refrigerator are included
06:29except for the TV because it's a gift from me.
06:31If we're going to arrange it now,
06:33if it's just a tiny house,
06:3554 square meters,
06:37including the kitchen and the bathroom,
06:39I think it'll be around P700,000.
06:41With the current price,
06:43all the materials are expensive
06:45so it's not definite how much it'll cost.
06:53Well, my advice is
06:56for a tiny house like this,
06:58you should live in a tiny house.
07:00I mean,
07:02you shouldn't expect
07:04to get a big house
07:06or even just a car.
07:08My parking area is just right
07:10for my car.
07:12The downside of a tiny house
07:14is the space.
07:16It's really hard to put your stuff.
07:20So, you should plan
07:22and live in a small house.
07:25And one more thing,
07:27if you have a big family
07:29or if you have more than two children,
07:31I won't advise you to live in a tiny house
07:33because it's small.
07:35But if you're just starting
07:37or you're pregnant,
07:39this is a good house
07:41for you.
07:43If you don't plan to get married,
07:45this is a good house for you.
