The location was awesome! Although we ended taking Uber because of all the stuff we were carrying, it’s a 10 minutes walk from Amtrak train station which was great! Location was very good as it wasn’t too far from most of what we wanted to do and staff were very friendly!! Our housekeeper was very quick and efficient in making our rooms each morning. They also had some food places around the property that were very convenient. The breakfast was very good. We liked the selections like pancakes,French toasts, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, bacon bits and regular side bacon, cut up fruits, and few other things. Very friendly staff who were there to direct people to extra seats right outside the main seating area with a very nicely decorated ceilings. Our two 10 year olds and 13 year old and us all enjoyed the breakfast! The place was very clean and the beds and pillows really comfortable!!!

For me, knowing New York has been a once-in-a-lifetime...
For me, knowing New York has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Spend a week or so is worth to visit the more iconic places of the city, where I often felt living in one of the hundred movies that I have seen.
Try to stay somewhere with easy access to public transport (subway) and/or near the neighborhoods you plan to visit. Moving by car is possible, but a high stress activity.

Everything is good. We love NY. Transportation is easy.
Everything is good. We love NY. Transportation is easy. We used UBER. Most of the tourist spots are walking distance from Courtyard. I love Summer One Vanderbilt Observatory deck.
Beware of Tour Agent selling tickets. They told us that we can’t buy tickets from Battery Park cause they are closed and that we need to buy it from them. They’re not gonna let you pass that barricade going to Battery Park, they will force you. And then I ask how much he told me 39 and ended up charging us 59.99$ each. And I asked for refund but he said its non refundable. He told us we can stay 30min in Liberty Island, they didn’t allow us to go down. He told us bus tour is included, never happened. Bought a ticket form Battery Park last year and it cost me 25$ and 18$ for senior citizen. It almost ruined my vacation.

So many places to visit in New York City.
So many places to visit in New York City. We walked around Central Park it is a beautiful park. We used our military discount and went to the American museum of Natural History, saw Wicked on Broadway, took the Statue of Liberty tour, visited the 911 memorial and museum and rode the subway many times. Walked 21 miles in 3 days. The food was amazing. You should calculate $250 a day for eating breakfast/lunch and dinner a day for a total of 3 people. We didn’t eat outrageous it’s just expensive. We will definitely be back.

ONLY THING IS NEW YORK PEOPLE ARE MEAN & RUDE!!!!
ONLY THING IS NEW YORK PEOPLE ARE MEAN & RUDE!!!!
New York had beautiful energy in the Air. When we arrived, until the first point of contact. our uber driver semt grumpy, like he didn't want to be working LOL. Then check-in process at POD51, was rushed and un genuine.
But, being in such a city with spectacular views no matter which part of Manhattan you are staying in. I enjoyed the attractions like
- Top of the rock
- Empire State building
- Circle line sightseeing cruise
-Times square
EVRYTHING IS WITHING 10-15 mins walking distance, with opportunity to get distracted at many foods trucks/ Truck stops etc.
EVERYONE IS ALSO ALWAYS IN A RUSH!!!
Blank street coffee was made a part of our routine with amazing options to choose from.
Food = SO MANY OPTIONS, from healthy, to fast-food!!!
ONLY THING IS NEW YORK PEOPLE ARE MEAN & RUDE!!!!!!!!

Location is perfect for everything NYC & Manhattan had to offer. Most major attractions are within easy walking distance. The Subway network is great for anything further afield & with contactless payment meant no time trying to work out what ticket you needed for what at a machine, you just paid once on entry for each journey.
Local restaurants & diners away from the Times Square are generally cheaper and more 'authentic'
The hotel is well located especially if you are planning to visit the city. The area (Times Square is noisy) but the hotel windows are sound proof. The room I got was tiny but functional, the bed was comfortable, the desk was of good size. The bathroom has a great shower and is of good size (compared to other POD hotels in Manhattan).
I enjoyed my stay.
AMAZING LOCATION!! Everyone says stay near time square but Times square is gross and way over priced! This was cheaper and so central to everything. All the staff were lovely as well. A previous hotel had double charged me and these guys were super helpful in getting my money back
Great location walking distance to times square and outside Penn Station. Old style New York decor, beautiful reception area.
Great value for money when we went. Cheap for New York.
Friendly and helpful staff.
The location is right at Times Square in Midtown Manhattan. But the hotel itself is very old school. No facilities that modern hotels have. Bond45 & Friedmans are the bar & restaurant which are fairly good.
