Now this ^H2088 is the blessing ^H1293 with which ^H834 Moses ^H4872 the man ^H376 of God ^H430 blessed ^H1288 the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 before ^H6440 his death ^H4194.

“The LORD ^H3068 came ^H935 from Sinai ^H5514,

And [fn]dawned ^H2224 on them from Seir ^H8165;

He shone ^H3313 from Mount ^H2022 Paran ^H6290,

And He came ^H857 from the midst of myriads ^H7233 of [fn]holy ^H6944 ones ^H6944;

At His right ^H3225 hand ^H3225 there was [fn]flashing ^H799 lightning ^H799 for them.

“Indeed ^H637, He loves ^H2245 [fn]the people ^H5971;

All ^H3605 [fn]Your holy ^H6918 ones ^H6918 are in Your hand ^H3027,

And they [fn]followed ^H8497 in Your steps ^H7272;

Everyone takes ^H5375 of Your words ^H1703.

“Moses ^H4872 issued ^H6680 to us the Law ^H8451,

A possession ^H4181 for the assembly ^H6952 of Jacob ^H3290.

Of Levi ^H3878 he said ^H559,

“Let Your Thummim ^H8550 and Your Urim ^H224 belong to Your godly ^H2623 man ^H376,

Whom ^H834 You tested ^H5254 at Massah ^H4532,

With [fn]whom You contended ^H7378 at the waters ^H4325 of Meribah ^H4809;

Of Benjamin ^H1144 he said ^H559,

And he lives ^H7931 between ^H996 His shoulders ^H3802.”

Of Joseph ^H3130 he said ^H559,

“Blessed ^H1288 of the LORD ^H3068 be his land ^H776,

With the choice ^H4022 things ^H4022 of heaven ^H8064, with the dew ^H2919,

And from the deep ^H8415 waters lying ^H7257 beneath ^H8478,

And with the choice ^H4022 yield ^H8393 of the sun ^H8121,

And the choice ^H4022 produce ^H1645 of the months ^H3391;

“They will call ^H7121 peoples ^H5971 to the mountain ^H2022;

There ^H8033 they will offer ^H2076 righteous ^H6664 sacrifices ^H2077;

For they will [fn]draw ^H3243 out ^H3243 the abundance ^H8228 of the seas ^H3220,

And the hidden ^H2934 treasures ^H5603 of the sand ^H2344.”

Of Gad ^H1410 he said ^H559,

“Blessed ^H1288 is the one who enlarges ^H7337 Gad ^H1410;

He lies ^H7931 down ^H7931 as a [fn]lion ^H3833,

And tears ^H2963 the arm ^H2220, also ^H637 the crown ^H6936 of ^H6936 the ^H6936 head ^H6936.

“Then he [fn]selected ^H7200 the choicest ^H7225 part for himself,

For there ^H8033 the ruler’s ^H2710 portion ^H2513 was [fn]reserved ^H5603;

And he came ^H857 with the leaders ^H7218 of the people ^H5971;

He executed ^H6213 the justice ^H6666 of the LORD ^H3068,

Of Dan ^H1835 he said ^H559,

“Dan ^H1835 is a lion’s ^H738 cub ^H1482;

He leaps ^H2187 out ^H2187 from Bashan ^H1316.”

Of Naphtali ^H5321 he said ^H559,

“Naphtali ^H5321, satisfied ^H7649 with favor ^H7522,

And full ^H4392 of the blessing ^H1293 of the LORD ^H3068,

Take ^H3423 possession ^H3423 of the sea ^H3220 and the south ^H1864.”

Of Asher ^H836 he said ^H559,

“More ^H4480 blessed ^H1288 than ^H4480 sons ^H1121 is Asher ^H836;

May he be favored ^H7521 by his brothers ^H251,

And may he dip ^H2881 his foot ^H7272 in olive ^H8081 oil ^H8081.

“Your [fn]bars ^H4515 will be iron ^H1270 and bronze ^H5178,

And as your days ^H3117, so will your strength ^H1679 be.

“There ^H369 is ^H369 no ^H369 one ^H369 like the God ^H410 of [fn]Jeshurun ^H3484,

Who rides ^H7392 the heavens ^H8064 [fn]to your help ^H5828,

And the clouds ^H7834 in His majesty ^H1346.

“The eternal ^H6924 God ^H430 is a [fn]hiding ^H4585 place ^H4585,

And He drove ^H1644 out ^H1644 the enemy ^H340 from you,

“Blessed ^H835 are you, Israel ^H3478;

Who ^H4310 is like ^H3644 you, a people ^H5971 saved ^H3467 by the LORD ^H3068,

The shield ^H4043 of your help ^H5828,

And He who is the sword ^H2719 of your majesty ^H1346!

So your enemies ^H340 will cringe ^H3584 before you,

And you will trample ^H1869 on their high ^H1116 places ^H1116.”
