I bought Asurion on my Fitbit 20 months ago (good for two years) because I have found that Fitbits have a life of two years or less. So for $9.99 it was definitely worth it. Well after 1.5 years my Charge 3 started malfunctioning. I put up with it for awhile, but after several calls to Fitbit, I just said forget it and I called Asurion to put in a claim. Within five minutes of explaining the problems I was having, they said, no problem, we will give you back the full amount you paid for the Fitbit. Just mail it back to us, here is a postage paid label! I couldn't believe how easy it was. I got back the full price of the Fitbit within two days in the form of an Amazon gift card, bought a brand new Fitbit with it, and bought new protection for it. I will be a loyal Asurion customer from now on!

Like a lot of people, we utilize a lot of electronic devices in this household. We usually purchase an extended warranty plan for those items that cost a bit more. Recently a pair of headphones snapped and broke right above one of the speakers. It happened 13 months past the purchase date. I reached out to Asurion, initiated the claim process, and explained what happened. They asked that we send the item back, and within a day or 2 of shipping it back, there was a full refund in the amount of the initial cost of the headphones in the form of an Amazon gift card in our account (which we chose to use to buy a replacement pair, but different brand of headphones). Very quick and efficient claim process, which I'm grateful for! Approximately 5 years ago we had to initiate a claim for another product, and the process was quick and easy then as well. Since Amazon only accepts most returns for 30 days, it can be valuable to have an extended warranty on certain products. I'd definitely recommend Asurion!

I contacted Asurion through Amazon and it initially directed me to Garmin to solve the issue. This wasn’t the right path.
