REDDING, Calif. - A woman was arrested on identity theft, possession of stolen property and drug-related charges in Redding on Friday, police said.Â
At about 10:45 a.m., the Redding police bike team was patrolling the area of River Trail and Caldwell Park.Â
The bike team officers found a gray Volkswagen car in the parking lot of Caldwell Park.Â
The driver, Ruby Epperson, was contacted, and there was a strong smell of burnt marijuana coming from the car, police said. She admitted to smoking marijuana in the park.Â
Epperson also told the bike team that she had a meth bong in the car. The bike team then searched the car and found about 20 people’s identifying information, meth and drug paraphernalia.Â
