My Journal

This journal is mainly for (1) Harry Potter fanfic (2) One Direction and Radio One RPF fanfic and (3) Meta. I largely write slash fiction, but I also enjoy writing femslash. I am bi and non-binary. My primary ships and active WIPS are slash - mainly Severus Snape/Harry Potter (Snarry) and Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy (Drarry) in HP fandom and Nick Grimshaw/Louis Tomlinson (Tomlinshaw) and Nick Grimshaw/Harry Styles in 1D/Radio One RPF fandoms. I have a few Sherlock (BBC) fics (Johnlock and Sheriarty) and Supernatural (Destiel). My fic on AO3 can be found HERE

I love angsty romance with a happy ending, boys being insecure and ridiculous and kissing in the rain. I'm also fond of dark fic and heavy angst, so please always heed the warnings. As well as longer pieces I also write monthly fic as a member of Daily Deviant and enjoy writing kink focused PWPs from time to time. The content on my journal is mostly NC-17. All fic is open, all personal posts are flocked.

I use the same username on The Hex Files, Walking the Plank, AO3, tumblr and YouTube and I have a One Direction tumblr [profile] writsgrimmyblog.

Community Moderating

I mod the dark fic community [community profile] hp_darkarts which runs the annual Harry Potter Horror Fest, [community profile] hpkinkfest which runs the annual Harry Potter Kinkfest and [community profile] wand_in_a_knot which runs the annual Harry Potter 24 hour porn tag challenge. I was one of the moderators for the Harry/Draco Big Bang which took place in 2018 and the sole moderator of Grimmy Appreciation Fest ([profile] grimmyappreciation on tumblr). I also moderate the Gryles Fic Exchange ([profile] grylesexchange on tumblr).

In terms of communities and fests I used to moderate or inactive communities, I maintain the harrybang community with mab. We hosted a traditional Harry Big Bang posting in January 2015 with a 50,000 word minimum threshold. For the past couple of years I also helped thisgirl_is moderate hds_beltane, an annual long-running exchange fest, focused on the characters of Harry Potter, Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy. 2015 marked the tenth and final year of the fest.
