Hide-and-seek

Hide-and-seek or hide-and-go-seek is a popular children's game in which any number of players conceal themselves in the environment, to be found by one or more seekers. The game is played by one player chosen (designated as being "it") closing their eyes and counting to a predetermined number while the other players hide. After reaching this number, the player who is "it" calls, "Ready or not, here I come!" and then to locate all concealed players.

The game can end in one of several ways. In the most common variation of the game, the player chosen as "it" locates all players as the players are not allowed to move; the player found last is the winner and is chosen to be "it" in the next game. Another common variation has the seeker counting at "home base"; the hiders can either remain hidden or they can come out of hiding to race to home base; once they touch it, they are "safe" and cannot be tagged. But if the seeker tags another player before reaching home base, that person becomes "it."

There, Emily makes an apparently imaginary friend she calls "Charlie". (Intro)
What’s it all mean? You say you love me but you don’t even know the definition
You try to reel me in and I wont even pretend like I have no clue of what you're doing
    (Chorus)
I can take this game of hide and seek
You can’t take the blame of falling over me
Cause maybe you think maybe you think that I feel the same
But please let me explain, please let me explain
And I can't help but think that I may be on the brink of falling over you
And I don’t know what to do
    (V1)
You fooled me to believe that you were the perfect
But I saw hwo you were when you thought nobody else was nearby
I saw it all…what you tried to hide
    (Chorus)
I can't take this game of hide and seek
You can't take the blame of falling over me
Cause maybe you think that I feel the same
But please let me explain, please let me explain
And I can't help but think that I may be on the brink of falling over you
