Late 40/50's Lace and Grosgrain Gown 36/38" bust 28" waist. This is elegant gown is made from a black grosgrain taffeta in a lovely mid weight. The bodice is a black Guipure lace lined in black silk chiffon, with a ruched panel of the taffeta centre front edged with piping. The scooped neckline and armholes are also edged with the same binding. The long skirts are have a full length "scarf" panel attach along the length of the skirt to each side which will be beautiful on movement. The right hip also has a waterfall swag. This is just a superb design. It fastens with a metal zip to the side, this has lost a couple of the teeth but still works very well.
