Vintage Alfred Shaheen Floral Print Shift Dress with Belt - Semi Sheer with lining - 1960's to 1970's - approximately a Women's Medium to Large (vintage Size 14) (see measurements below) Condition: in very good vintage condition - no issues of note - preowned Has all original fabric covered buttons on the cuffs, two hook and eye closures on the back of the neck just above the zipper and the "Shaheen" signature printed near the bottom hem on both sides of the dress. The hem is accented with white lace on the underside. Tag Reads: the size on the tag reads "14" - the measurements are approximately a Women's Medium to Large - see measurements below to ensure a good fit. DIMENSIONS - measured flat Width armpit to armpit: 19 inches (has darts) Width at waist: 18.5 inches Width across the hem: 24 inches Length from collar seam to hem: 38.5 inches Sleeve length from armpit: 17 inches Width across back shoulder area: 15.5 inches Zipper Length: 21 inches Belt: 66 inches long (including tassels) and 2.25 inches wide Tags/marks/id: 91% percent polyester, 9% nylon, hand wash only, do not dry clean plus additional care info on back of smaller tag - Alfred Shaheen of California and Hawaii, Made in USA, Size 14, Style 204-01 - (4600 was hand written twice on the tag) We're not sure if the tassels that accent the end of the belt would be washable?? The dress will ship in a box with insurance and tracking included. Alfred Shaheen was a master silkscreen printer noted for his historic 1970s Hawaiian / California style designs.
