I didn’t realize how easy it is to make a lantern.
Many ways exist, but I found this the easiest, so we tried it! 

MATERIALS: 
1. Autumn leaves 
2. Wax paper/ greaseproof paper
3. Cardboard 
4. Ruler, glue, cardboard cutter 
5. Iron 
6. Electric tea lights/ cocktail candles 

HOW TO CREATE A LEAF LANTERN: 

1. Collect autumn leaves (Try to get as many colors and types as possible). Dry leaves will not work! 
2. Decide on the shape of your lantern. We made a square one. 
3. Fold the wax paper in half and cut four strips.
4. Place your leaves between the folded wax paper.
5. Add a little bit of glue.
