It’s by Jeroen Schipper, a Dutch music teacher and children’s songwriter. It may not be a traditional hand clapping game but the call/answer/copy parts of this little song make it perfect for little ones to try! Clap high, (clap, clap) Clap low, (clap, clap) And clap, clap, clap Along the rainbow Clap round (clap, clap) Clap flat (clap, clap) Clap this (clap, clap) Clap that (clap, clap) From the bottom To the top Clap, clap, clap And stop! #clappingsong #timefortwo #circletime #musicwithshannon" K4 Classroom, Hand Clapping Games, Clapping Games, Clapping Hands, Teaching Babies, Classroom Songs, Clap Clap, Nursery Activities, Christmas Program

I originally learned this from @music_a_la_abbott 🤗 This is a great song to teach fa as it has a lot of mi, fa, so repetition! The game is also so much fun. Sometimes in 5th grade, I need to slow down and remember they like to play too 🤍 Here are the instructions I learned from Amy:
1. Students sit in a circle and pass a steady beat around except on “tip, tip, tip” and “tap, tap, tap” where they clap the rhythm.
2. On the word “out,” the person who is about to get caught tries to pull their hand away to not get caught. If she does get caught, she goes in the center! Once three people are in the center, start a new game.
3. I also play that if a student misses the triple clap on “tip, tip, tip” or “tap, tap, tap” that they are Games For Three People, Singing Games, Tap Tap, Game 3, New Game, Word Out, Greatest Songs, 5th Grades, A Circle
