Here are some illustrations done for the then-new PBS show, WORD WORLD! In that kid's education program, all objects are made of words, thus prompting kids to read! For this lesson we began by reviewing the different line types and talked about what feeling each type can help convey (for example - vertical=strength, horizontal=rest and calm, wavy=calm movement, etc). Then we moved on and talked about colors and the moods they can help show in artwork.
