Gaura “Whirling Butterflies” /Oenothera lindheimeri is THE perfect plant for airy texture and blooms for what seems like forever! I love it for it’s see through quality, due to its tall and wiry stems. It’s also low maintenance and drought tolerant once established. Bees love its (especially the Bumbles) which are so fun to watch 🐝    Its not from Canada but it IS a North American native originally from Texas /Louisiana. And its always better to plant a North American native plant when you live in North America 🇺🇸 🇨🇦    I wish it was winter hardy here in Ontario but it has not been for me.
