Today we would like to present a solution from this collaboration. 🔧 We developed a 2-station machine for machining crankshafts in the passenger car sector in the USA. The American Hofmann Corporation functions as a partner and first contact to our customer. Production takes place at Hofmann Mess- und Auswuchttechnik. Designed & engineered in Germany - Our machine is characterized by the highest precision: With radial bores in the counterweights, supported by an integrated unbalance measurement and a drilling station for balancing, an optimal balancing process is guaranteed. Thanks to the 2-station principle, we achieve a higher cycle time compared to 1-station solutions.
