Aamir Khan addresses his past fallout with Salman Khan during Andaz Apna Apna days: 'With time, I’ve grown to appreciate who Salman is'

During the Bigg Boss 18 grand finale, Salman Khan treated fans to an intriguing revelation as he reminisced about a past fallout with Aamir Khan. Aamir, who appeared on the show alongside his son Junaid Khan and Loveyapa co-star Khushi Kapoor, joined Salman for a candid exchange that took viewers down memory lane.
Salman recalled Aamir’s vow during their Andaz Apna Apna days never to work with him again. “I saw an old interview where he said, ‘Last day pe chhutkara, iske saath toh main life mein kabhi kaam nahi karunga (Finally, it’s over. I’ll never work with him again),’” Salman said with a laugh.
Aamir, touched by Salman’s recollection, admitted, “That was my feeling at the time, but now my feelings have changed. With time, I’ve grown to appreciate who Salman is. It just took me some time to understand.”
Aamir also shared how he recently stumbled upon an old clip of Salman praising his performance in Andaz Apna Apna. “I had never seen that video before, and I watched it now after 30 years. He praised me with so much love in the clip,” Aamir revealed, admitting that it made him emotional and prompted him to share the clip with Salman.

Salman then explained the root of their disagreements: “The thing was, Aamir was doing one film while I was juggling 15 films. He would reach the set at 7 a.m., but I’d arrive later after finishing another shoot.”
Aamir, however, expressed his disapproval of Salman’s overpacked schedule, saying, “Don’t clap; you shouldn’t do that.” Salman humorously countered, “He (Aamir) also worked like that, but he was among the first ones to stop doing so.”
Aamir also expressed his desire to make Andaz Apna Apna sequel with Salman, saying, "Salman, it's time we should do Andaz Apna Apna 2." He also shared an interesting anecdote, revealing that he and Salman were together in school in second grade.

The heartwarming banter between the two superstars gave fans a nostalgic glimpse into their relationship and brought back fond memories of the magic they created together in Andaz Apna Apna.
