One Month Old Already!

Today Ayden is officially a month old and I can hardly believe it. I love the little picture of him naked. He has little chubby arms and he looks like he has muscles when you curl up his arms. For the most part he's a great baby. I think the hardest part is just adjusting and running when Jackson is calling for Mommy and then hearing Ayden crying gets tough sometimes. He sleep pretty good usually only waking up like once in the night which isn't too bad. He's such a sweet baby and I've loved watching Jackson just love on him. Every morning he comes in asking where Ayden is and he has to give him a kiss. I just love how he says, "Mom Ayden is just so cute, I love him." I guess we'll see what happens when Ayden starts taking Jack's toys. He may not love him then!

He's Here!

Ayden James Davis was born December 14th at 12:50pm. He was 7 lbs and 18 inches long. He was quite a suprise to Ryan and I as his due date was the 27th of December I was scheduled to be induced on the 20th to be home for Christmas but he decided to come early and on his own. I started having contractions at about 2:30 am and was really hoping they were false. I dealt with them for a while and then decided I better tell Ryan just so he knows we may be having a baby. Thing is we were getting carpet that day and had a ton of little things to get done so I really was hoping it was just some false labor. By about 4 am the were still consistantly 5 minutes apart and we decided we better go atleast get checked out. Well when we got to the hospital they checked me and decided to keep me. So by 12:50 we had our little Ayden. As for now there are things on him that resemble Jackson but we're still watching his face change. He's been a sweet little baby but of course we'll see what happens when I don't have a nursing staff at home. We're just so excited he's here and healthy and that he suprised us a little early so we could all enjoy Christmas as a family of 4! Holy cow that's so weird to say but so exciting to have our new addition!

Family Pictures

Last week we went and had our family pictures taken. It was definitely an adventure. Jackson lasted a whole 2 pictures before he was done. Overall though I think the pictures turned out great. I was just happy we got some good family ones and some really cute ones of Jackson!

August

In August we went up to West Yellowstone and had a great time. On the way there we stopped at Yellowstone Bear World and Jack just loved that. In West Yellowstone we got to see Air Force One which was pretty cool, no President Obama though. We also saw a bear for the first time in the wild too. He of course was very far away, you pretty much needed binoculars. That was a nice relaxing vacation! Also in August we headed to Lagoon. That was a little tough on me being preggars and all but thanks to my brother and sister-in-law for helping Jack ride on some of the big rides he wanted to ride! We also took them on the big Ferris Wheel and Jackson loved it! I swear that kid has no fear and that really scares me!

July

July was a busy month. We swam with family and friends, had a family reunion, watched fireworks, went to a parade, went to a carnival, went to the zoo, went fishing & just had a lot of fun. We also started the transition for Jackson becoming a big boy and got him a big boy car bed and also started potty training. It all flew by so fast!

Our Summer

I haven't blogged for a while, but decided to do a couple posts of our summer starting with June. First we had fun spending time at This is the Place Heritage Park and then we also took a roadtrip up to Twin Falls. The pictures of the waterfall are at Shoshone Falls and they were so spectacular. We had a great start to our summer!

Jackson's New Bed!

So with the new baby on it's way, we figured it was time to put Jack in a bed. We've been really lucky in the fact that never once has he tried to climb out of his crib, so it made it nice that he was "stuck" and couldn't wake me up in the morning. He had to wait for mommy to come and get him. Needless to say the transition to the "big boy bed" has been pretty good. He is so into cars right now and a friend of mine had a car bed she sold to us which was perfect for Jackson. He has done good with naps and going to bed. He usually will just wake up and play with toys and then yell at me that he's awake and playing in his room. Knock on wood is all I can say. I mean he has his moments cuz his toys are easy to access now. The only random thing is every now and again I find him down on the floor. Usually he's passed out and snoring when I find him this way so I don't know if he's falling out of bed or just waking up and then passing out again on the floor. Anyways it's been a lot of fun! He's just growing up so fast and we are super excited for the new addition. I have some other fun pics of things we've done so far this summer so I will post them later!
