Tank time! I started painting up the tanks finally. Here's some photos of the soviets. I used a paint pack from Vallejo "World of Tanks" which came with enough colours for the base coats on these. I followed the flames of war instructions (basecoat, black wash, overbrush with base colour then a drybrush with some lighter green I can't remember; maybe goblin). I was torn initially on the white stripe but they needed some pop so I added that to most of the more 'modern' tanks after doing a bit of research on what 'might' have had them. The armoured cars I followed the US paint scheme with olive drab base first, because apparently those were all lend-lease vehicles and weren't repainted.
